So even if you don't like it, Nvidia and AMD have to give us more Vram to keep up or we are screwed. That being said, the 1070 released 7 years ago had 8gb of memory and now the 4060/ti will have 8gb despite being more than twice as powerful? At some point you can't blame the game devs progressing with new technology (that need more vram) when Nvidia doesn't

@@marcelojogos6247 how long ago have you used an AMD card? The drivers are so stable now, and they have a very similar amount of bad drivers that Nvidea has. They are pretty much on the same page in terms of driver stability now and AMD also has “fine whine” drivers that vastly increase performance. Nvidea has huge driver issues all the time, but it is covered up by Nvidea fanboys and the company itself. AMD driver issues are more pointed out by the general public because of the crazy amount of Nvidea fanboys.

8GB of VRAM and a 128 bit bus means it’s DOA, sorry. even if it’s ~$50 cheaper than the RX 6800 it won’t matter since the 6800 has double the VRAM and double the bus width, making it much more suitable for 1440p and 4K. we already know that the 3070/Ti with 8GB of VRAM and a 256 bit bus is struggling in several new games due to insufficient VRAM, now imagine if the bus width was cut in half. the 4060 Ti will probably be even worse, despite its perceived “FPS per dollar”. if the 4070 is selling like crap right now, the 4050 and 4060/Ti will collect dust for years in warehouses and store shelves. NVIDIA will only give you a good price or a good GPU, never both, and many times neither lol

The 4070 provides on average 30-35% more performance and is $140 more expensive. I want to know if games actually look better on the 4070 or do they look the same but just run faster? I prefer visual quality and dont mind sacrificing frames. So in 2 years, when RE9 comes out or in 5 years for something else... will the 4070 have enough vram to load all the textures and play that game at full quality? Is it worth it to pay the extra $140 if maximising fps isnt all I care about?
