Griffin4Runner - What tire/wheel combo are you running? Cheers, Bugs
@griffin4runner3202 жыл бұрын
@@bugsmoran21 Hey there! At the time, I was running 285/75/17 (34") Yokohama G003s on Method 701 bead grips. Tbh, I HATED my G003s so much that I got rid of them the second I got home to Atlanta (3 days after this video was filmed). I found that they performed well in Moab; however, they were lackluster on the 'Con and they'd almost split at the bead in southern Utah. I was not a fan of how they did on the highway, either. I will say, I think the Method 701s are BY FAR the best wheel for anyone who daily's their rig. I actually ran 6 PSI on the Rubicon with that wheel and didn't pop a bead. Hope that helps!

Have you ever run the Dusy-Ershim trail on the Western side of the Sierras out of the Fresno area. There were several years I ran both trails within a month of each other the Ershim trail is usually the Rubicon times 3 in both difficulty and length. The exception is if you run the Rubicon in June before Jeepers Jamboree starts their trail work. The difference between a very early Rubicon run And one after the trail work is night and day. Even easier after a couple of the jamboree events. I’m glad Toyota finally went to Dana 60’s? Nice rig and vid!

@griffin4runner3202 жыл бұрын
@@teamvegas05 Haha, I definitely have a front [air] locker. I just use it VERY sparingly for reasons seen in the video. If I would have used it, things probably would have gone a little faster; however, it's likely that I may have broken something earlier. Still being on IFS, I really try to only use the front when absolutely necessary.
