The funniest thing about this scene is that in the 2nd movie, the Reptar Corporation gives Stu a massive loan to construct a gigantic animatronic version of Reptar and the reason why it keeps breaking down in the middle of reshoots is because the people who were suppose to build it on time and under budget refused to adhere to Stu's designs because they thought Stu was insane with his schematics. There is a scene in the movie where Stu is complaining how the reason why the engine keeps malfunctioning during the directing process is because theyre not using Rubber Bands because they have the elastic capacity to keep everything together to prevent Reptar from exploding. So when you factor all that in its a lose/lose situation. Stu is way too smart to be working a regular job but no one who isnt insane would hire a man who builds things like Stu

I fully understand the concept of a big toy wagon for kids... But what in the actual fuck possessed Stu to equip the thing with AN ACTUAL FLAMETHROWER. I get that Reptar is supposed to be a kid-friendly Godzilla expy, but surely he couldve just added some coloured plastic, lights and sound effects to imitate fire.

I love this part because to me when ever I see Drew, and Stu fight, or argue, or try to out do the other. I see Angelica, and Tommy this could be them in 30 years. Not Tommy or Dil who get along pretty good. No it is Angelica, and Tommy who are so much like thier dads when with each other going from getting along to fighting over anything even in the spin off if I remember right Grandpa Lou said they fight like thier dads or something to that effect.

Fighting siblings or fighting cousins. I think Angelica is a lot more like her grandfather's cousin Miriam than her dad Drew. Drew may have bullied his brother Stu sometimes when they were kids, but I'm sure he was less naughty than his daughter. Stu and Drew do get along sometimes like in the episode "Ice Cream Mountain" and in the pilot episode "Tommy's First Birthday" Drew apologized to Stu for ripping the ears off of his favorite stuffed toy Tony Bow-wow and that he was only four years old then.

Both of them have their own points. Drew's case, you definitely need a stable job to pay for necessities. Especially when it comes to taking care of your own kids. Stu, shows that at the very least you have to take risks in life, especially when it comes to making your own company.

According to the novelization of this movie, Grandpa Lou remembered that his sons Stu and Drew were always fighting ever since they were babies and that the very first one was over a pacifier and Grandpa couldn't remember who won that one. But it just seemed like those boys had been squabbling with each other over something ever since.

So, what exactly does Stu do, invent something and sell it to the highest bidder? Because if he's selling a concept and not getting royalties, he's getting screwed. The guy who came up with the original GI Joe concept would have been a millionaire if he took the 1% royalty deal instead of just the 100k.

Funny thing about both of these do is there, right. Now, Stu is right doesn’t wanna waste his life working for somebody, especially considering that he wants to do things his way, like any other great inventor living the American dream. However, there’s nothing wrong with having a job on the side along with supporting your family. So I feel like Stu can do both. Now, Drew yes, while it’s true, his brother makes a point about his brothers financial situation. That makes sense you don’t have any income with no health insurance along with another kid on the way. There’s nothing wrong with having a job there but however, he’s telling him to give up on this dream that’s not right either. So through it all they’re both right and wrong.

50/50 on drew. In that moment yes he is correct especially since stu has a new kid on the way and $500 can’t cover everything needed to take care of a kid and the contest doesn’t sound like Stu will get royalties for the reptar wagon. On the other hand drew isn’t the wise one with financial investments since he lost Chaz’s 10 million instantly by investing in some ear cleaning machine.
