You can also kind of add this to the first episode, when Marley sent the Warriors to steal the founding titan and get rid of Paradis Island (their "freedom" was to literally be free from the threat of the Rumbling and the Eldians inhabiting it) doom everyone living there and steal the iceburst stone. This is what they get in return, the bow has been drawn by Eren himself. I just hope the quote won't get flipped at this point. I don't want to see the fanfiction that we must call the manga ending animated and ruin the franchise 2 times in a row.

Someone made a montage back when the manga chapter came out and I remember being struck by how perfect, like down to every single word, the song fits this scene. Truly one of the most nuanced, well thought out stories I’ve ever experienced. Very sad that people only seem to remember the last two or so chapter… 🙄 😂

I just realized something. When you remember Armin telling that the Shiganshina district titans are enough to destroy the allied fleet - he was wrong. The concentrated fire of the fleet destroyed the first line of titans. Again, the "big-mind" boy would have just killed the island earlier :)

« Destroyed? » For them to be destroyed you need the approximately 300mm (30cm) shells to hit a 1m per 10 cm large zone on the neck of those 50-60m tall colossal titans. The thing is that this is blinded fire and the chances of the weak point to be touched during the first salvos is comically low. While I don’t understand how a 15 m wide giant is being cut in half by a 30cm wide shell, (probably for cinematographic purpose) they wont take long to regenerate and join the back line.
