I was at a shop when a I asked if I could get a rune pendant. The woman at the shop said that she saw something special in me and said I could have one for free, she said that I should choose one by instinct and I chose one that I was drawn to by shaking them and throwing on the table, this rune was surrounded by the others which was creepy and then she said I could have it. This is my rune, there is no doubt about it

Hi Arith! I hope you are well. Since one year ago I have read one rune per day as a guide for what is coming during that day. I am also used to meditate over that rune in a kind of daily ritual, calling my spiritual friends, vattir and landvattir, gods and ancestors, so on. I always charm that same rune looking for the wisdom from the gods. I explaining that because during this entire year I have noticed that when Hagalaz come I have my best days. Hagalaz’s days are always bringing to me prosperity or resolutions like initiating a new job, signing contracts, receiving good news related to getting money. Those days are kind of energetic and great! I have to say that sometimes I cheer to the rune I catch from my bag is Hagalaz in order to fell or receive more and more blessings. I know it seems strange, but all the good things happening in Hagalaz’s days are indeed unexpected, but very nice. It was not used to happen before I included meditation and connection rituals in my morning routine. Now a question: do you think that the meditations and rituals can do the difference and creating a kind of “protection” over me during those days? Or it has something to do with my own energy, maegin, soul that can have some connection with Hagalaz energy? See that I’m not complaining about it, I really appreciate it and enjoy it! But I have read runes for 18 years, and Hagalaz always brought to me unexpected and destructive situations, but, as I said, nowadays, it brings only happiness. Thank you dear friend!

I actually find this rune to mean simply "Big change ahead" for the good or for the bad, like moving to another city, ending or starting a new relationship. The 2 times I remember this rune came out happened big changes in my life. Both for the good. Maybe this is all a misinterpretation from bad translation, just like the XVI Tower card in Tarot is associated with disaster and it is indeed but not always, it simply means big change, like a 180° shift in direction.

I always find Hagalaz as an indication to be prepared and go over before the future unfolds. As well as find the possible ruin ahead, rather than a negative thing, a time of sacred appreciation as equal as positive. As being Hel’s rune , I also see it as her playing a part within the reading and I should pay close attention to her role.

About 4-6 months ago, I made my own runes and tried to do a reading for myself that I did not have the best references for deciphering their meanings. But it's the only reading I've done and I remember that all three of the hagalaz runes were in this reading. So much makes sense now, after watching your videos. This has been the hardest season of my entire life, but now that I'm coming out of it, I know it was for the best.

I hate to admit this but I am one those occultists who fits the stereotype of listening to Black Metal. About two videos ago or so, I started wondering "I wonder what Arith Härger thinks of Burzum?" I get to this video and BOOM! Burzum track! LoL I'm learning a whole lot. Thank you for this video series. I've studied a lot within the occult and the runes were always on the periphery for me. If we 'll interpret this rune into astrological theme, it's Pluto or Plutonian, the 8th house energy. Death and rebirth, crisis, sudden/drastic changes, challenges, deep transformation. Beautiful representation. Thank you for your kind effort. I have enjoyed it a lot.

I think the transformation of this Rune to Hagall in the younger Futhark is interesting, since the symbol of Christ also is a sixpointed star. In gnostic literature, when used in Abraxas iconografi, the sixpointed star also symbolizes the Earth rotating around its own axis. Usually the runes in the older Futhark were put in 3x8 lines or outlined 8-6-8. I wonder if the 6 and the Hagall Rune may symbolize the tree of life itself, since the tree of life has 3 roots? The rune of the lowest part of the six pointed star is also known as the death rune. This again may mean that the middle row in the Hagalaz rune symbolizes the inbetweeness concept (Midgard).

Great work Arith! I always interpret any sign that can mean death as an inevitable change usually ofa radical nature. Around this time last year I was under the influence of Hagal and Isa, my life was going through a phase of pain and suffering but fortunately that is in the past and my life is returning to some normality albeit changed. I have been fortunate to have had support from good friends in my time of suffering. What is the origin of the Nornir? Did the nine worlds wake up one maorning and there they were at the well of Urdr?

I'm studying the runes and this night I had a dream with Hagalaz. But it was not bad. I don't remember all dream, the part I remember was: I was walking in a place that looked like a old city, and when I passed near a group of mens one of then asked to me to give the hagalaz for he, but the hagalaz was the cape I was wearing. I used da cape to cover me and I became a invisible and run, appearing seated above of a house, in the roof. I don't remember more, but if I am not wrong, hagalaz protected me.
