The Gary series really reminds me of what it was like in the mid-2000s playing Runescape when you had to rely on people to tell you information and you had to take it at what they said or doubt it. Wikis for games weren't everywhere yet. We didn't know precise numbers of almost anything. People swore that certain rumors were true, it was like folk legends that exist in every town because your friend knows a person that saw it happen once and that's enough proof for you. Thanks for the videos Jimmy, you really do make the best RS content. I only play for maybe a month or two every few years but I always enjoy your videos.

I remember my group of friends in 5th grade all gathering in the library to get this link for a new RuneScape game on Mini clip. This was back in 2006 and it was my first time experiencing an MMO of any kind. I logged into tutorial island and saw all my buds there with me. Other than Xbox live Halo or Gears of War matches with friends I never experienced online gaming. My mind was blown; I was just amazed that the people around me were real people doing real things to the world. I've played almost every MMO released since then and am still chasing that feeling I got logging into RS for the first time.
