just curious why are planes so important now (when i played 3 years ago the smartest person in the game was the guy who built artillery when fighting a player cause we all infantry spammed and we only built bombers as flex)

My theory - planes are expensive but kinda just like artillery, you go and take out troops without getting damage. Except endurance they destroy. Only anti aircraft can do damage to them but usually enemy doesn't make anti aircraft, and by the time they make, you have done lot of damage
