Alex your birth mom had a really hard life! she made a great decision giving you for adoption. You got beautiful loving parents! and because of her decision also you have been educated! she knew that adoption was the best option in her situation been young, scare, and financially broke and without any family to support her! Just be proud of her! love and care! she is a hardworking lady with a very hard life nobody should judge her!

I’m glad you said that you “don’t judge her.” She was young when she had you. Your father did not know you had been conceived. Be grateful that she did not choose to have an abortion. Also, be grateful to your adoptive parents who gave you a good life. You have grown to be a wonderful and intelligent young man. A word of advise, your mom is poor, send her a little bit of money every month, you will get it back ten fold, you’ll see. I will keep watching your videos. Best wishes!

Marie Jane Cornielle, that is bad advice. In Russia, it is well understood that such people will become leeches. Alex could easily find himself the recipient of ever larger demands for money from someone who doesn't want to know him. The only way for a proper relationship with her is not to send her money.

Alex, I dont know if you realize this....but your Mother Tatiana most likely saved your life by getting you out of Russia and letting you be adopted. Human Traffiking is a huge issue, especially in Russia. Id be willing to bet your poor Mom saw or experienced the brutality of that reality in the 80's hence why she gave you your best chance. Ask your Father, as exmilitary he probably knows about that situation at the time. Russian gov has been fighting it for a long time, but they can only protect so many. So glad your Dad went with you. Good on you for not judging, only loving her. You both deserve peace and happiness. Be blessed.

Sasha, greetings from Toronto, Canada. I got to learn about you during the self-confinement lock down and had come to enjoy your videos and sympathize with your need to find your birth parents. I am thrilled to see that Mikael and family had embraced and genuinely welcome you as their lost family member. I can tell he loves you very much. I admire your maturity and decency from the fact that you seem to understand Tatiana’s feeling and unique circumstance without judging her and still care and love her deeply as best you can- for the sheer fact that she is your birth mother. You are kind, generous, loving and a decent young man. I congratulate your New Zealand parents for raising you that way. Do not neglect them even after you’d found Mikael and Tatiana. Just let your birth mother know that you love her deeply and unconditionally and will always be there for her when she needs you. You’ve probably done so already. Continue to be a long suffering buddy to Mikael for I know he needs you in that role (I can tell from watching your videos even if he never said that to you). Last, whomever is lucky and fortunate enough to love you and to have you as a life partner will be a blessed person.

Or watch some Soviet fairy tales. You would be 100% surprised by the love invested in them. For example 1. This one made at the end of the war, in which Germans exterminated 14 million Soviet civilians out of racism: m.kzbin.info/www/bejne/ZmqkeWiYpNZkarc Or the loveliest and corky Russian version of Winnie the Pooh (Vinni Pukh): m.kzbin.info/www/bejne/qaLHmniLpZumaqc

Sasha I really enjoyed seeing the footage of you, Tatiana and M. I feel for her very much. Just put yourself in her shoes. You can never forget the child you give up for adoption, being a mother myself. She had a difficult life no doubt but she can still smile. She made the ultimate sacrifice, something which I could never do, death would be easier. She had to bury the pain for all those years, not knowing whether she would ever see you! She numbed it I guess but she loves you dearly and tries to cope with all the hardships and guilt. I empathise with her more so than most as I have a deep understanding as a mother of two. I cannot judge her as I was not in her shoes. She needs unconditional love most of all. People should respect her for being her own person and dancing to her own tune. You are a good solid son and she must be very proud of you. Much love to you all from South-Africa 🥰

I love how honest and open you are! That is so rare! You should come to America! My daughter goes to a specific private school for youngsters that are really advanced. There is only 8 kids from grade 1-6 and I think it’s hilarious that 7/8 kids are all part or all Russian! I love them singing happy birthday in Russian! We had exchange students from China this year to learn English and to teach them Chinese. I think it might be easier for your sister to do a study abroad program like that where someone could interrupt for her if she couldn’t ask it in any language other then Russian. My husband’s sister is adopted and I know she struggled a lot growing up. I even heard people ask her why she didn’t look like my mother in law which I found to be hurtful. Her mom cried when she asked to find her birth parents so she didn’t. I hope one day that changes before it’s to late. So much love to you. You are such a kind and warm person and it’s a pleasure getting to know you! Sending you and your beautiful family so much love!

We obviously don’t know her but I’m sure she was soo happy when she heard from you after all these years. And I’m sure she was probably scared when she met you for the first time (scared of the reaction/ rejection) . She needs the love to bright her soul. She needs the love she didn’t have as a child, she needs to feel loved in order to show that same love to you. It’s such a touching story. I’m so happy you found them and that you get to see them more often. Wish the best for your mom and your dad and of course your entire family. Удачи во всем. Они очень любят тебя.

You have it right ,she clearly loves you and is proud. But as you say,it is impprtant to respect what her boundaries are. Just keep on doing what you are, none of it has ever been without seeking their consent. Tatiana is so beautiful as she sees you,the pic of her watching your channel teared me up. It speaks volumes without words.

I love to think of the journey you've championed to know your birth parents. It is frightening to travel so far from home, to a country so different from what you have ever known. I was on a similar quest in 2000 to find the village in Slovakia that my grandfather left behind when he came to America. My sister and I went through quite a search to find our roots. It was a very exciting time, but also scary, since we did not know the language and very few people cared to help us as we made out way through the unfamiliar territory. Scary yes, but we laugh about it a lot now. It was the best trip I ever took, and I have returned to that tiny mountain village five times since then. I know it is a long way to go, but keep returning to see your biological mother and father. Each moment you spend together and every word said is precious. Hurray for you plus both of your families!!! Your adoptive parents are heroes.

I don’t know why would anyone would judge her while they don’t know her. I know she loves you so much Sasha. By the way your name is great and I am not from Russia or never have been. Your mum needs help and she is regretting. Keep in touch with her and support her financially because that will ease her difficulties. See Sasha she put you in that orphanage may be she wanted you to have better life than hers. You were too precious for her to put you through life difficulties. Look how you have bacame, she must be proud. Believe me I am not even a mother myself but I could read all these just from your videos. So that is why I can not understand people judging her and saying otherwise. She is watching you which is great. Send her more loves

yeah, from the photos and the documents that he has I think she was well-prepared and really wished Alex for the best. My ex-boyfriend was put in a Korean orphanage along with his older bro since he was 4-5 years old, he was adopted by an American couple and he did not have any document or anything about his life in Korea at all and he had to be check his age by the bone scan ,tooth checking blah blah and it was more difficult for adoption. Zero chance to get to know his past since Korean child looks like the same in the photo lol.

by the way, they can do it, because train trips everywhere require a passport to buy tickets for trains, planes, steamships, etc.

hey man, I just found your channel by accident but I'm amazed by your incredible story. I am a bit annoyed that your videos are so short (lol). I think it's amazing the love that your biological father has for you and that he's trying to be a part of your life. I also think it's sweet that your biological mother also watches your videos, I bet like me, she feels your videos are too short. I do have a suggestion, maybe for future videos include Russian captions so that both of your biological parents can be in the loop and understand better what you feel and who you are, cause I'm sure they want to discover you fully. Keep opening your heart to them. May the Lord Jesus Christ bless you and ALL of your family.
