could be a unique starting point for the space borne start of Splitsie's Scrapyard Mod. just needs a somewhat more run down look but something the players can repair and upgrade or convert into a ship in it's own right.

built with parts taken from the ground? Just imagined that this station was assembled from old parts coming from pertam, on old ships, old structures, already rusted by time. Stations don't rust in space.

This is a game where we use a magic blowtorch to turn dirt into spaceships, rust in space is the smallest plot hole in the game. :-)
