I have been an avid follower of Rick since the dark ages of the pandemic. He was a random video that ended up being the mental break I needed at the time. The stark contrast one needs after navigating work through a pandemic. Been a fan ever since become of just how relaxing his videos tend to be. Grant, in contrast, is a recent follow. The videos I have enjoyed, have proven to be similar. Until this one. This was as relaxing as falling out of an airplace at 35,000ft. I probably experienced the same emotions as well. It was awesome. Well Rick finally learned not to set his wrist early in the back swing which made a huge difference eliminating all those nasty hooks. Best I have seen him strike the ball since the first video I watched a year ago. Slowed the back swing down some also. Did Grant not have his own clubs for this video? That would explain his drives.

Notice the difference between how much Europe is into the ryder cup, I have mostly UK youtubers on my golf with a handfull of US (I am actually from the US). None of the US ones did anything ryder cup related, the UK channels all have spent the last couple of weeks everything ryder cup. I think it is a much bigger deal in Europe.

Fun format. Nice to see Rick's twin brother play quality golf. LOL! One important point here Grant, that you are obviously ignorant of, is that the VISITING team gets the honors in Ryder Cup. Rick knows this full well, but when you said that the home team gets the honor, he didn't correct you. Not very honorable of him, but that's the kind of guy he is. He will never be a contender for the Nicklaus/Jacklin Award. He knows he needs every edge to have a chance of beating you. You kindly (he would say foolishly) gave him a 4-foot putt early on, but did he tell you to pick up your 4-footer a few holes later? Not a chance. Ironically, on this day, with his good play and you being unable to find a fairway, he would have taken you down. I don't know if you KZbin golfers do any wagering off-camera. If you do, then I'd say Rick's approach makes sense. If there is no money on the line, then good sportsmanship and fairplay, like you always demonstrate, should rule the day. He may have more subscribers than you, Grant, but you can be proud that you play the game as it should be played - like a gentleman!
