Is 750 ml bottle okay to be taken out? Or is it too huge?
@RushfasterTV5 жыл бұрын
Do you mean, is the 750ml too big to take with you on trips or walks? If so, it really depends on preference. The 750ml is a much bigger bottle, and if that's something you're conscious of, you'll probably find that issue with most bottles around that capacity. Mind you, it will be decently heavy carrying around the 750ml, but if you're not bothered by it, then thats more water for you! :) Same goes if you're just thinking about putting it in a bag. It's all preference in the end. Hope that answers your question! :)

Swell...chilly's what's the diff?
@RushfasterTV5 жыл бұрын
Yeah good question! Nowadays, when it comes to figuring out the differences between an expensive product and a cheaper product that look very similar and seem to be built very similarly - you've got to then look at the company. Chilly's Bottles look awfully similar to S'well and sit at a much more attractive price point - but what they currently lack is any show of social enterprise or transparency as to why their bottles are so cheap. S'well actually has a few charity partners and are quite transparent with their philanthropy and ethics. I think that alone speaks volumes on why there is a big price disparity, but I'm sure there are other things too. @@spaghetti9067 Oh really? That's a good step in the right direction. I can't see any of it mentioned on their site though, so they should work on their philanthropic, social values transparency - because more and more people are wanting to see that in companies.

S’well came first and hence has a larger range.

These bottles are overpriced generic bottles with a logo that for some reason justifies the markup. This is the same thing with hydroflask. There are generic bottle companies that make the same or better bottles than swell for half the price
@RushfasterTV5 жыл бұрын
Yeah you're right in saying that their products do have a higher markup than some of the generic brands, that's always something that stands out. But as I was saying to another guy who commented on this video - the questions we gotta start asking is "why is it so cheap?" Because you gotta consider so many things when you look at the price of a product: consider what materials it's made of, how the workers who make it are paid and treated, and what quality of function (insulation in this case) each bottle provides. S'well bottles guarantee 24hrs cold and 12hrs hot insulation with their ThermaSwell Triple Wall insulation, which many companies don't have. But they also engage in a lot of philanthropic work with UNICEF and it's a big part of their company values. Not saying that it justifies the price necessarily, (sometimes things are really just overpriced - like in the fashion industry) but these days we really gotta ask the better question of "why is it so cheap?". Here's a great article talking about this www.linkedin.com/pulse/instead-asking-why-so-expensive-ask-yourself-cheap-carol-chan/ Food for thought! :) - Ed
