AMEN. Thank you Dr Baruch for this teaching. Shabbat is a sign between God and us. Genesis 2 3 Then God blessed the seventh day and sanctified it, because in it He rested from all His work which God had created and made. Yes, Yeshua and His disciples and the gentiles too kept the Shabbat. Luke 4 16 And he came to Nazareth, where he had been brought up. And as was his custom, he went to the synagogue on the Sabbath day, and he stood up to read. Acts 13:44 44 On the next Sabbath almost the whole city came together to hear the word of God. Believers who don't keep the Shaabat should Google and research who changed the Shabbat to Sunday first day of the week instead of misinterpreting scriptures to their destruction.

💕 The physical temple no longer stands. We born again believers are the temple where YHVH GODS Spirit dwells. We keep the Sabbath in our temple. In ourselves we are still observing the 7th day Sabbath -the 4th commandment. On this particular day we REST from our work and seek GOD all the more and are not distracted from the work of the other 6 days of the week. Yeshua Messiah - LORD of the Sabbath said if you love me obey my commandments. *1 Corinthians 3:16 - Do you not know that you yourselves are God’s temple, and that God’s Spirit dwells in you? *Romans 12:1 - Therefore I urge you, brothers, on account of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as living sacrifices, holy and pleasing to God, which is your spiritual service of worship. *John 14:23 - Jesus answered and said to him, "If anyone loves Me, he will keep My word, and My Father will love him, and we will come to him and will make a home with him. 💕

Thank you for your reply. I thought it was clear and raised some useful points. I am struggling to truly understand what Dr Barruck is trying to say in this message. He seems to be going round in circles and not giving a straight answer. It would have been more helpful to just state why he believes from scripture why people ought to "keep" the Sabbath and what that looks like in practice. It is just so confusing. Are people expected to keep the Sabbath as the Jews do, following the pattern of the Children of Israel in Moses' day, or are they to acknowledge the day as a day of rest as God did in order to commemorate His work at creation? God said to "remember" the Sabbath and Moses wrote "keep" the Sabbath. ☺

Thank you for sharing this. Through the Holy Spirit leading I have come to the same understanding of the millennial reign. I had not heard of this from another source until just now listening to you. Leviticus 26 the latter part after the three sets of sevenfold punishments are warned of and after HIS wrath/fury/anger speaks of the millennial reign where the nations will be remembered under covenant and HIS hand will be held in punishment as long as the land will be at rest. I have come to the conclusion that Zechariah 14 speaks of these days as well as Isaiah 19 for instance. I counted the number of gates and yes, the word gate(s) is used seven times in Jeremiah 17:19-27. Seven is important there in pointing out the weight of the matter. I have subscribed and am looking forward to listening to your videos and learning more. Shabbat Shalom.

I don't know how many times I've debated with fellow Christians about the fourth commandment still being in effect, and it's astounding how resistant people are to taking a day off. One minute they're all sola scriptura, but the next they're obstinately devoted to Sunday, even to the point of calling it the sabbath. It was the test of the Israelites before the commandments were written, and I'm afraid that it is the test of the grafted branch as well. It's profoundly saddening.

I'm new at this. What can you not do on the Sabbath besides sell, trade or work. I am alone so I crochet blankets to donate to the needy so is crocheting against the Sabbath. Also, the Shabbat is a sign commandment given to Israel when they agreed to obey the Torah at Mt Sinai. For a gentile we are not required to keep the Shabbat like a Jewish person. Although, gentiles will be blessed by observing the Sabbath because the Sabbath is all about the coming kingdom.

Abba father wouldn't allow that confusion. It takes faith to keep Sabbath. Yeshua kept the Hallel calendar even though the leaders in temple were not perfect. HE kept it for us to see His example. People keep different calendars for the festivals, in my opinion it's in vain. Blessings

That reference is speaking just the opposite as it’s very important to pay attention to each word grammatically; it is saying “let no man decide for you/judge against the sabbath..” for (the next passage) it is “a shadow of what’s to come” (in the Kingdom); have you read Hebrews 4:8-10 ?

It doesn't. The receiver of that letter was keeping the sabbath, but he was amongst people who did not. So, "let no man therefore judge you..." The sabbath, or the Lord's Day, was observed for hundreds of years after Christ (and by some until today). It wasn't until 325 that Rome decided the God of Israel was a little too Jewish, and started enforcing Sunday worship.

I live in USA and mostly celebrate my rest day on Sunday. I do listen and respect your sermons. I also know that the 7th day rest is in Gen. But what do you do with Col. 2:16-17 & Rom. 14:5 I pray, read, and study God's Word daily. Would you honestly say that I'm still sinning and will be judged when I rest on 1st day & not the 7th? Paul was teaching the gentiles not to worry about what the community was saying about them because they were honoring the sabbath(the 7th day), etc. Be in prayer about it.

Mosaic laws are for jews. Not for non jews. Besides the laws were added because of transgressions among Isralites and to show men can't save themselves. The Mosaic law was written by Moses, on a scroll, and leaned up against the side of the ark of the covenant. The ten commandments were written by the finger of God, on stones, and put inside the ark. Unless you think that God no longer cares if you have other gods before Him, or idols, or take His name in vain, or dishonor your parents, or bear false witness, or murder, or steal, or covet, or commit adultery...then yes, not repenting of profaning the sabbath is a sin unto death. It is not our right to change the day He established at the end of creation, just as you don't celebrate Independence Day on September 17. Know that all of the apostles kept the sabbath, as did their converts. Keep that in mind as you read those passages - it is only because the traditions of men have been taught as the doctrines of God that you take these as conflicting with the sabbath. There is not a single verse in the canon that tells you to disregard it.

I wonder with all respect: Why are the jewish religious people so obsessed with Shabbat keeping as if the whole Old Testament would be about this particular ritual commandment or as if it were the most important part of the Law given to Moses? Even since the time of the preaching of our Lord Jesus Christ precisely this was a point that differentiates the disciples of Christ from the beliefs and ritualistic external practices of the Pharisees. Shabbat -says the book of Hebrews in the New Testament- was a figure and a shadow indicating the eternal rest that is to come to the believers in Christ in Heaven. To emphasize the Shabbat keeping or significance is often (not always but certainly often) a sign of misunderstanding the New Covenant in the New Testament with old ritual requirements that the Apostle Paul fiercely opposed to.

Just as someone who murders somebody once a week without repenting of it may be reasonably assumed to not be within the body of Christ. This statement is false for many reasons, but here are 3 of the biggest ones. (1) Mar. 2 says the Sabbath was made for _all_ mankind.
