Join Joe, Jakkie and Tommy as they deliver a message on the weekly Torah Portion, seeking for Yahshua (Jesus) and His love on every page. Every Friday 7pm UK Time, 2pm ET, 11am PT. ******* Lech Lecha - “Go Forth” / Vayera - “And He Appeared” Genesis 12:1 - 17:27 / Genesis 18:1 - 22:24 Abram is called out from his home by God, to ‘go forth’ to a land which will be given to him and his descendants, who will become as numerous as the stars. Accompanied by his wife and nephew Lot, they journey to the land of Canaan, where Abram builds altars to God. Soon after, a famine forces Abram to depart for Egypt, where his wife Sarai is taken to Pharaoh’s palace. Believing that they are safe, having present themselves as brother and sister, rather than husband and wife, un unwittingly causing a divine plague to prevent the Pharaoh from taking her to be his own. Shocked and upset, He nevertheless sends Abram and Sarai away with great wealth to compensate them both (something that would happen a second time later with the king Abimelek). Back in the land of Canaan, Lot separates from Abram and settles in Sodom. Here, he is taken captive during a local war, so Abram sets out with a small band of trained men to rescue him. After the armies are defeated, the king of Salem, Melchizedek, comes out to greet Abram with an offering of bread and wine. God seals the covenant with an ancient ritual and the holy land is promised to them as an eternal heritage. Abram’s and Sarai’s names are changed by God to Abraham and Sarah. God appears to Abraham with two other mysterious figures, promising them a child. After this, they leave to pronounce judgement on Sodom and Gomorrah. Abraham pleads with God to spare the city for the few righteous people that may remain, but there were not enough to save the city. Judgment is cast, but God provides a way of escape for Lot and his family. God requests the sacrifice of Abraham’s firstborn and promised son, as a sign of faith. Isaac is bound, ready for the sacrifice, but a voice from Heaven calls him to stop and a ram, caught in a bush behind them, is offered in the place of Isaac. ******* *More Information* Want to learn more? The verse that came to my mind while watching this is the one in Genesis... For a man should leave his father and mother and cleave to his wife... Torah is the Ketubah of our new life with our Creator, our Redeemer. ❤️

Maybe the first medical professional was correct in the diagnosis. But as you have people all over the realm who pray for you and this ministry, Yah healed, so when the second person looked it was gone. Praise Yah and His miracles.

I have watched y’all for several years now & I’m so grateful for all of you! Are there any books you use to help you study the Scriptures besides the Scriptures itself? For instance, each of you are always able to correlate pictures of Yeshua throughout the entire Scriptures so well! I feel I can miss this sometimes & just wondered what, if any, resources that you may recommend & use!

Beautiful teaching but one correction brothers, Babylon is Arabia the Mediterranean Sea as Isaiah and John Jeremiah describes ( second beast is Rome ) Lord's been helping me link it Babylon is 🖇️ to first beast of Mediterranean Sea. The second a saint comes from as per Thessalonians and Matthew. Love you always Shabbat Shalom 😊

Excellent teaching. I love your passion. Forgive the ignorance but are you Scottish? I assumed you were English. Please forgive the ignorance.
@chiararealiniАй бұрын
It's Merseyside English, or Liverpool English, otherwise known as Scouse accent😊
@egmjagАй бұрын
@ that’s very interesting. Is Scouse related to Scottish? I have seen a few old Scottish films and their English is slightly different but similar to yours. I unfortunately saw Train Spotting over 20!years ago and couldn’t understand hardly anything. An Irish colleague told me it was a Scottish film but I thought it was Scandinavian.

If Abraham lived out the gospel 7:30 through faithfulness then I’m assuming he didn’t wear tzitzit which were commanded after an act of faithlessness?
@boqermorninglight7858Ай бұрын
Very true, but I’m sure Abraham would commend any sons who lived after that act of faithlessness for wearing tzitzit 💖
@terrywilson5812Ай бұрын
Or maybe he would have understood the priesthood after the order of Melchizedek being superior to the Aaronic priesthood and recognising that a prosthetic command was required until the coming of a high priest forever who would inaugurate a new covenant that would eventually deal with faithlessness aka the gospel…if we are faithless, He remains faithful

Addiction is another form of Idolatry,
@Lyn-io5txАй бұрын
Shabbat shalom, the idols come in the form of “christmas trees and ornaments and “gifts” and credit card debt and everything that goes with that practice. Pagan holidays calling it “Christianity” and it is full of deceit. Shalom
