The Saboteur has been available on Steam for a while now and I highly recommend it! Set in 1940's WW2 Paris, this is a very stylish open-world game and Pandemic Studio's last title before they closed down. The game finally runs well on modern PCs however for Nvidia RTX card users you might need to disable anti-aliasing in the Nvidia options to fix some graphical glitches. Apart from that the game runs great!

@@AlexanderBagheri Yep, and I completely forgot how fun the game was! My old version barely ran at 1080p due to it being a broken port but now the Steam version has made this more accessible.

And for those curious the GOG version has all the necessary patches that fixed this issue and added the "risqué" pre-order DLC as an unlock.

Pandemic at that time could've been the next Rockstar Games. They had the talent, ambition, and potential going for them. Mercenaries and Saboteur were phenomenal new takes on the open world formula Rockstar set. One of the saddest closures in the industry still felt today by fans like me.

Its really rare an open world game set in 1930-1940. I really wish there's more game like this. I mean we have Mafia 1-2 but its not enough

I like the way it's set during WW2 but is still an urban open-world game instead of a War FPS. Also this was the first ever open-world Paris map.

Yes Will!! So glad you're covering this game again, haven't played The Saboteur in a long while! Happy 15 years to it, shame there will never be a sequel to it (R.I.P. Pandemic.) Also always loved the change in color after certain missions, especially the first explosion, and the reverse one (R.I.P. Jules :( ) Sean Devlin is an awesome protagonist in this game, keep it up! This has to be the most underrated WW2 open world game ever. I remember watching TheProfessional's walkthrough on it and i hope one day it becomes backwards compatible on a Xbox Series X|S Also I cannot believe i never even heard about this game WTF

Me too. I remember playing this on my PlayStation 3, and boy was it a great game. The open world, the shooting, the cars, the missions, the music, and insane graphics were incredible. If EA hadn't closed Pandemic Studios and let them have no time constraints, plus free reign on whatever project they wanted to do; one can only imagine what they could have done.

it sure has an unuqie concept, plus the store system is a nice idea too they did. I just wish sometimnes, that the theme remixes were easier to find, they got almost wiped from youtube. Funny, that koop song is one of my favorite songs in the game, is actually a modern one but still fits well into the 1940s jazz. And as a german myself, I find it kinda funny how the German chrachters differ in the english and German version. Plus...how should i say, the irony if you consider history of German troops in Paris/france. I hope that didnt sound wrong
