Thank you for the tour of the bridge. One of our training films recommended years "The Bridge over the River Kwai. The British POW's were ordered by their Japanese captors to construct a bridge of strategic importance. It was interesting to see all the real-life tour you provided that added more detail they couldn't provide in the movie. Thank you so much.

Glad you found it interesting Carl! Lots of British have lost their lives during the construction of the railway in the most horrible circumstances. We've seen pictures of those who survived and they didn't look much different than survivors of concentration camps

Thanks for a great video. As a military history buff I never thought I'd find such an informative video from a naturist source. Well done in sensitively covering such a sad chapter in our history. Keep up the good work.

Glad you enjoyed it! On this channel, we’re covering more than just naturism. Just like when we travel, we don’t stay inside the naturist resorts all the time. We like to do other interesting stuff and share it with you!

For us, traveling is more than sipping cocktails on a nude beach (although that's very important too 😁). So we try to share different aspects of the places we visit

Same here. Out of the thousands of hours of documentaries I must have watched (and hundreds of books I have read) about WWII over the years, I tend to stop at VE day. I do not know as much about the war in the East as I should.😞

Some stories are awfully well hidden, and it takes some traveling to find them. Or some youtube watching, of course 😁

We imagine that few people know a lot of what went on in Asia during WWII. Except for historians and the people who suffered from it

We possibly learnt a bit more here in Australia with respect to it being a world war, but your coverage was enlightening. Thanks again. Keep up the great videos and enjoy your travels. Cheers.

We travelled on the train to Kachanaburi 2 weeks ago and visited the bridge, Hellfire pass and Erawan national park. Would have been really cool to have met you guys there. Love your videos and have found them quite inspiring, now become regulars in Playa Vera.

The whole area at this time of season (dry season) is pretty sad ... all the jungle almost dead. Was pretty disappointed years ago.
@NakedWanderings Жыл бұрын
Yeah, that’s the difficulty with south-east Asia. It’s either dry and dead, or green and rainy
@Michael00000001 Жыл бұрын
@@NakedWanderings Islands in the south look nice in dry saison, too - same as waterfalls in Laos - and Malaysia anyway (a quick shower almost every day).

@@NakedWanderings The train ride is very impressive, with the old bridges and the views over the river, or the other option is with a scooter and stop at the waterfalls and enjoy some people watching 😇
