the pillow ball!!!!!! My passenger side started knocking and thudding really bad a few months ago. I took it apart and placed high temp grease on every single moving component. It drives like a dream now.

Been really been debating on getting bags, currently have 2k saved but just don’t know yet, I have a 07 2.5i Impreza and I get odd looks from my family anytime I wanna do something to it, been told to just buy something else but it’s my first ride n I’m kinda attached. It’s a base model manual fully stock only things I’ve done is basic maintenance but wanna bag it and figure out a good wheel for it. Other people keep making me second guess myself tho. You think it would be worth keeping this car going as long as possible n modifying it my way or just giving in and getting something else?

People will always comment for better or worse. Ultimately it's your choice. If you cherish your car and it's what you want then make it that extra special you seek. Did this with my first car even though everyone said not to and I went through the same thoughts. However I ended up doing exactly what I wanted and enjoyed it for another 7 years until I sold it. Just my 2¢

Very nice whip and bag setup bro!👍🏼 I plan on moving from coils to bags this summer myself. I want to make sure the tires I purchase will not cause any issues rubbing on the bags. If you don't mind, could you share your wheel and tire specs with offset? Thanks. Keep grindin' homie!👍🏼✌🏼

Would air suspension be a liability for track use? Let’s say you run sticky tires and your sticky tires sling rocks around your wheel well and punctures your bag while you’re at the track? Theoretically anyways. That’s what I imagine and that would be pretty bad lol
@abgtaxi5 ай бұрын
Airlift bags are top tier STRONG. haha. they’re not sensitive. they’re just as strong and thick as a tire. it can take plenty of load, force, and abuse. the only time a bag will puncture is if it’s rubbing against a tire that sits too close to the strut. so higher offset wheels would be ideal when running meaty tires. to answer your question, rocks/debris slinging onto the bag will do zero harm.

what’s your ride height? I do 55 on all because it rubs my fender liners when i go lower, also does bagged suspension feel stiff for you? when i drive the suspension is super stiff and the drive is bouncy as well even on smooth roads
@abgtaxi Жыл бұрын
i have my rear struts adjusted to max low and my front struts adjusted to lower than half. I ride around with 55 front and 50 rear! It’s all about the dampening bro! the softer you leave it, the bouncier it can be. But the stiffer you make it, the more aggressive it will be. So you really have to just mess around with it. All bags are going to feel different. So if you already adjusted your dampening and it’s still bouncy, I reccomend increasing your PSI for less rebound on the air bellows 👍🏽👍🏽 If it sits too high after increasing PSI, I suggest adjusting your struts to make it lower
@mvrk7773 Жыл бұрын
@@abgtaxi thank you so much bro, i really appreciate it because my tires rubbing on my fender liners sound like my car is about to break 😭
@abgtaxi Жыл бұрын
@@mvrk7773 60-65psi should hopefully do the trick! You can soften your dampening as you increase psi and you should hopefully get less rebound and a little more comfort 😸

6:19 Nah this is fake low, you can’t be riding around like that and claim you’re “static” gotta get -20 in there slot your coilovers get the proper control arms and scrape the fuck out the bottom of the car, my opinion personally that’s exactly how my static wrx sits and I have to complaints other than the rust here and there. But I respect how you mentioned 7:04 that’s true static ideally drive your car how you’d like, I get breaking your shit sucks so I respect that, but if you’re gonna claim to be static you definitely have to put up with the consequences

Only question I have why did you put the lowrider in there that had nothing to do with bags your own are he's on hydraulics. This sport is too big for you to be hating.. okay maybe I need to explain something to for over 30 years I've been customizing cars . I'm not hating hating I'm just stating that the way he visualized his content seem to be hating on lowriders. I love anything slammed bagged on hydros it don't matter. Long as it's low on the ground scraping slam cambered on cambered long as it's on the ground I don't care

@abgtaxi Жыл бұрын
Definitely depends how committed you are to your car. If you think maintenance would be an issue in the long run, I would definitely work on that first! But other than that, bagging your car is probably one of the sickest things that you can do. If you do it yourself (which I recommend) it can run you around 3.5k to 4k on BagRiders website for a good quality airlift performance set. There’s definitely a lot of pros with bags with very minimal cons (such as maintenance). You can show it, track it, or drive comfortably. You get 100% adjustability with dampening and “spring rates” which is the best part.
