Valant should've teamed up with Trucy to revive the troupe imo..... I don't think Trucy would've ever treated him 'lesser' despite her talent. They could've had it all man
@Degdreams4 ай бұрын
Trucy LOVED Valant. He was truely another member of the family, but he just never embraced it the way he could have. And after Phoenix's final conversation with him, im sure he would have accepted Valant as well.

Trucy would have treated Valant better than Magnifi, Zak, and most importantly, Capcom
@megarotom15903 ай бұрын
I think the main thing stopping him was his own preconceptions and guilt.
@megarotom15903 ай бұрын
@@xuanathantbf Zak didn’t do that much to him aside from unintentionally showing him up at every moment. Most of the problem was Magnifi propping him up I think. He even had reason to suspect Valant to be the real murderer. But regardless he believed his disappearance would let Valant get what he wanted only to screw him over unintentionally with that too since the trial never finished Suspicion around Valant never vanished, but to try to make up for it, he confessed to the murder. Zak wasn’t the best partner for Valant but he wasn’t the worst either, most of Valant’s loathing for him was mostly cause of Magnifi

I wish valent showed up in the series again. Maybe a new apollo justice game can do that that. Along with apollo and trucy their half siblings.

Valant my beloved. I would take his place to save him from his pain if I could 😔. He’s forgotten by the troupe itself, in soj they don’t even mention the guy when referring to the poster :(

I also love the parallels he has with Kristoph. That sense of inferiority and envy. However Valant tried to resist his demons and in the end defeated them by turning himself in. Kristoph indulged in his, destroying everything around him until he became the devil

You can say that Zack leaving that day slowly but surely triggered a set of events which led us to Appolo Justice events and beyond... until ot triggered the Dark age of Law. And that dark age had like two different stages (first with Kristoph obv) and later going all the way until Phantom. We came a long way guys. But also Id like to say that dark age was alwayd there lingering in AA universe (as way back as during von Karma period abd even police corruption not just prosecutors corruption so ya). And I like to think you can't completely get rid of it because there always be people who try to bring it back. Theres a hope however with our good lord Jesus of law Phenix Wright and his not so gay but also gay Miles Edgeworth and their dysfunctional but also totally functional family of orphans

Having watched this, I agree with literally everything you said. I absolutely believe that, had the developers allowed Shu Takumi the time and effort and resources to breath as much life into the other characters in this game as he did with Valant, I might not even consider this the worst game I’ve ever played. Because as much as I despise this game, with glaring logical inconsistencies, glaring character assassinations, glaring gameplay problems, to the point where I truly believe this game was rushed just to please Capcom the cooperation… this character was like a light to me. I wanted to abandon this series, and NEVER look back after this game, but there were 2 things that still kept me in the ace attorney series. 1, was learning of the development process of this game. 2, Valant. Valant, compared to every 1 dimensional character in this dumpster fire of a game, feels like Shu Takumi poured his SOUL into. Granted, Shu Takumi does this with every game he touches, be it Edgeworth in AA1, Adrian in JFA, Godot in T&T, Jean in VS, Eggert in GAA1, or Barok in GAA2, but the fact that a game that was so utterly flawed still had some sibilance of life in it, it honestly reminds me of the scene in Wall-E where Wall-E finds the plant. TL;DR: Apollo Justice the game is terrible and Horrible and the only reason to play the game outside of playing the entire AJ trilogy (which is very valid) is to experience Valant.
@MiracleTimes0712 күн бұрын
Ngl, I disagree with AJ being that bad because I actually enjoyed it, had a lot of fun with it, and believe it’s one of the most underrated AA games The characters are actually realistic in a way, most AA characters are almost completely innocent (other than a few ones here and there, but I’m not naming anyone because of spoilers). But in AJ, each defendant is guilty of something, but not the crime itself, they’re flawed, not 100% innocent, which is how people are irl And I would’ve replied to the rest of your criticism if I didn’t know that these arguments end up no where in the end But by the end of the day, this is your opinion, it doesn’t have to align with mine

zak came at 11:05 pm and valant at 11:20 pm. so it didnt happen at exactly 11pm, but way before 1am
