What made that scene go from nightmare inducing to sad was Morgana watching everyone die and thinking it was all his fault. Makoto's delivery of "Morgana...What did we do wrong?" was also heart breaking.

Morgana knows to pull his punches when he's being a jerk to Ryuji though, unlike vice versa. When Ryuji totally fucks up and exposes them to Makoto, he doesn't say anything, because he knew Ryuji would feel like he had failed his team a second time (first track, now them). So he just goes "it's fine, this isn't a fatal mistake."

okay so i knew morgana wouldn’t die and everything, but in the animation part of it, i cried so hard. when mona did that little speech, it meant so much to me. it just shows how there’s always hope, even i the darkest situation imaginable. you can always make things work, there’s never a “dead end”... and when he said “there’s no ‘real world’” i felt something inside of me that i can’t exactly describe. it’s like every palace just flew before my eyes. and it was the most depressing yet surreal feeling that i’ve ever experienced. this game has changed my life, i’m not even kidding.

I've just finished the game as a first play through.... this game has really set a new standard for story based games! Morgana was my favourite throughout... I didn't expect the entirety of the last Palace's affect and dramatic crescendo up until this moment... and I certainly didn't think I'd ever cry... but man, I was gutted the moment I worked out the history of the Holy Grail, and how this game parallels to our reality in real life.... just wow! What a fantastic, thought provoking game... or... alternate reality, I don't know. 10/10 from me.

Holy crap. I was so excited to see the percentage for the Phantom Thieves soar up to 100%, legit got chills when Joker whipped out his gun with Satanael doing the same, was so shook when I realized that Joker literally took down a freaking god, and was jumping up and down when we got the treasure. Morgana "dying" had me sobbing and Joker reaching up to him as the freaking cat was fading away didn't help. I was so pissed when Morgana came back alive, but I became happy again that he did. I stayed up until 4 AM and was a bipolar mess once the credits rolled in.
