AWolve I blame the Philadelphia 76ers for not developing both Okafor and Nerlens Noel. Both added jump shots to their game to "adapt" but were never given the support to thrive that was afforded Joel Embiid. Teams like the Clippers, Hawks, Spurs, Jazz who have a need and low risk to take a gamble on a still young talent at Center should be looking forward to the opportunity.
@jm-xb1kv6 жыл бұрын
Except Noel played well in Philadelphia. And he should have accepted a backup role to Embiid. He would have gotten 20+MPG and would have started 20 games this season when Embiid was hurt. He was offered $70 million, turned it down, and then fired his agent. Okafor and Noel have problems with their attitude and work ethic. And you gloss over the improvements of Ben Simmons, Embiid, and Saric since being drafted by the Sixers.

@jm-xb1kv6 жыл бұрын
Kind of agree with some of this but it's not white people it's jews. Okafor balled out his rookie year but the team went 10-72. He pretty much proved that centering your offense around the post is dead. He put up empty numbers. Why are so many of the owners and commissioners Jewish? Jews are best at getting black people to blame whitey. And black people are more easily divided than just about anyone. So keep blaming the white man. By the way, most slaves were sold by their own people and many slave ships were owned by Jews. Pretty much how it goes today. Black people selling each other out and Jewish "people" acting in their own evil tribe. But you're right it was all the evil southern white men.

Love the video but you fail to mention that Dwight and Marc both are very old and beat up and that there are plenty of Centers in this league who have 0 offensive game that start for playoff teams. Deandre Jordan, Rudy Gobert, Clint Capela, Hasaan Whiteside. So talent and “a new crop of centers” isn’t the reason why he hasn’t found a home. It’s his work ethic and attidtude.

@carmeloanthony41536 жыл бұрын
End Of Dayz no lmao wtf the majority of nba players are black almost all the stars are black. The nba would get nothing out of blackballing him and Adam silver is nothing like that. The reason okafor is the way he is is because he was fighting fans outside of the philly arena after games. He gets into a lot of physical altercations. Hes gonna basically be cousins 2.0 but instead of talking hes actually gonna be swinging and the NBA wants no part of that. He needs to clean up his act

I'm a sixers fan. I think some of the blame lies with us. He was drafted as an insurance policy to Embiid. We thrive in transition but draft a post up specialist? No way for him to succeed in that system, especially on defense. He's too slow to get back from the post on O to the paint on D. I hope he makes a comeback. But like the video said, the game has changed. I wish you the best Jah.

Don't believe the hype. Those 17 ppg his rookie year were empty. He had absolutely no all around game and the 10 win Sixers were better with him off the floor by plus/minus and net rating. He has a solid faceup game but severely lacks the ability to make quick decisions, not to mention his low motor and inability to defend. Trust me I watched most of the games he played in Philly

Kendall G You are an extreme hater. An entire paragraph bashing a young man following his dream. I'm not sure how much you watched of the 76ers 2015-2016 season but, you surely watched with an envious eye, that is a fact. Every commentator of the away games said the same thing about Jah. "Beyond his years"
@Charger215onyx6 жыл бұрын
You're gonna lose this battle. I'm not envious of Okafor I just don't think he was any good as a member of the Sixers. There's a reason he couldn't get consistent minutes in Brooklyn. There's a reason there's no interest around the league. There's a reason the Sixers became very good when Okafor left. He does not impact winning. In fact he impacts losing at the NBA level. These aren't emotions, these are measured takes. Jah isn't good and he was never really that good. Don't get mad at me for telling you how it is.
@dragonknightofamiraka36366 жыл бұрын
Kendall G Informing people to "don't believe the hype" Obviously that's an emotionally driven statement, you are demanding people to overlook talent based off ignorance. This video was made for a reason. The NBA are collectively ruining Jahlil Okafor. I mean, the league is ran by clansmen in business suits.

i believe putting in practical work is also important. training or practice is important but having actual experience is a necessity and in these cases whenever they play they are placed in situation where their practice can payoff or they dont get any minutes at all.
@Sumoboi16 жыл бұрын
this is like saying why doesnt everyone play in the nba you just gott traaaain. In reality its not how it works and not everyone can be good at something regardless of practice.
@JoshuaSmith-cg1zh6 жыл бұрын
Ryan Suhm bro not everyone can be in the nba but those that do make it experience a different world training wise, they got access to the best coaches the time the money hell they even got technology to fucking show the arc, release, trajectory, velocity, angle, etc. And reconstruct it. Are u telling me u cant develop a jumpshot with that?

I seen this cat play a lot over his time with the sixers has nice post game but that's really it he can't defend and he isn't a energizer towards his teamates but if he develops a consistent 3pt shot and gets more minutes on team that's gonna give him a chance theirs no reason why he can't be a star like Joel embiid or Anthony Davis he was in the wrong place at the wrong time like u said in the video

He is just a younger Whiteside except his post defense isn't as good. Maybe if it was 1990 he would excel but now there is no point in having a big man who cannot at the least shoot a middy like Tim Duncan.
@dvo12456 жыл бұрын
The only reason all this small ball is popular is because there are no really talented big men that focus on owning the paint, it's bout 2 change back cuz now there's a few more talented big men coming in2 the league & once they understand how easy it is 2 get dunks, layups & put the other team in foul trouble all night, big men down low will once again have a footprint in this current NBA... hope all these teams made for small ball are ready cuz most teams aren't equipped 2 handle paint pressure anymore, it'll be fun 2 watch a more balanced NBA again... I wish a 2nd coming of a SHAQ like player would come around, was pure enjoyment watching that monster eat up everybody down low!!!

Just the case of a copy cat league.. Meanwhile, everyone gushes over the Greek Freak.. A career 27% three point shooter.. The last time I checked, u only need 1 point to win a game.. im glad now someone has realized he's more that just a post player.. And has to potential to develop a 3pt shot, just like Brook Lopez did.. U dont give up on a player, who had a solid rookie year, and was benched in his 2nd for another player, only has 3 years in the league, and can be here for another 12!
