Pine Hollow is thrown into a frenzy of activity as Max and Deborah’s wedding day approaches. Phil tries to ask Stevie to be his date for the wedding, but inadvertently asks Veronica instead. Lisa wants to speed up her riding progress to surprise Max. Max and Deborah do wedding plans. Lisa gets thrown from her horse and ends up in the hospital with a concussion. Veronica blames herself. Everyone feels useless and Max blames himself too. Will she come to? Max and Deborah postpone the wedding.
Based on the series of popular books for young readers, The Saddle Club follows the lives of three aspiring equestrians developing their riding skills at Pine Hollow Stables. Each of the girls has assorted personal baggage: Tomboy Stevie's impulsive nature gets her into constant trouble, Carole rides to overcome a family tragedy, and Lisa is an overachiever with a social-climbing mother. Despite their problems (and the schemes of a spoiled rich rival, Veronica), the girls' love of horses and strong friendship with one another is always enough to help them overcome any obstacle.

I know a lot of people are saying that Lisa's roll off her horse is funny, but that's actually a very safe way to fall off a horse. Stunt riders tuck and roll so that they don't get hurt, and I can speak from personal experience that it's a useful method to know. I had a bolting experience a few months ago and lost control of the horse I was riding, did the tuck and roll I learned from a event rider's video featuring real life stunt rider Freddy Steele, and the fall didn't hurt, nor was I hurt. Every rider should know how to fall off safely.

You'd be surprised. A horse I was riding spooked just as we landed a jump, resulted in me falling into the sand and I broke my collar bone from it.

Well if you fall off in a high speed (which you do if you fall of a galloping horse and it suddenly stops) then yes you're gonna get a concussion. It can be the shock of your body as well putting you in coma. I fell off a horse last year, broke my leg cause it hit the ground in high speed, and the horse trampled my face but I didn't get a concussion. It all depends on how you land and in what speed.

Why are they allowed to ride by themselves? I've been riding for 9 years I'm 14 now and I'm still not allowed to ride by myself and my horse is 100% bombproof and so trustworthy but still not allowed and they're allowed to ride by themselves and are like what 12/13? And riding an ex-racehorse !!

Well it depends on trust with between the rider and teacher and whether they feel you have the confidence or absolute capabilities to control the horse regardless the situation. There could be a range of things as to why. I rode for six years and only in the last year or so was I allowed to ride in the arena by myself but not on my own on hacks. 4 years later I now work at a stables and ride an ex competition horse who competed at high levels including the badminton horse trials virtually unattended and due to ride a dressage horse and it won't be long before I can go out. You never know you could be riding alone sooner than you think you just got to keep going at it :)

it might be just my stables but you shouldnt brush a horses tail while standing right in front of its rear because if you pull a Knott he/she might buck.I always do it to a side BUT I guess it's just a show. like if you agree dislike if you do it differently
