Oud for greatness smells incredible . The quality is exceptional. I do not think it smells like MFK Baccarat Rouge - that one is perhaps a bit sweeter? Both scents are a must have so I was happy to see these in one video and I like the fact that we can see the bottles up close. Good job I say.

It’s not even close! I own them both and Baccarat 540 Extrait will fill your house with its scent. Oud for Greatness is for colder weather and night time only. It’s dark and smoky.

I own BR540 Extrait and after a recent purchase of Initio Side Effect I was sent a sample of Oud for Greatness. I can understand why some people may say that they smell "similar" but in my personal opinion I get very little resemblance. BR540 Extrait is rather sweet and close to the skin, Oud for Greatness is a projection beast and has a petrol (gasoline) accord which is weirdly intoxicating, a little bit like Dior Fahrenheit back in the 1990's. I have asked my wife to buy me Oud for Greatness for Christmas which should prove to everybody that its not similar enough to waste £250 on.

Another good difference to note is OFG does not perform well in humid. Neither are really summer scents but where I live it's hard to use OFG a lot except maybe a couple of months a year on nights

Oud For Greatness "The dry down is very, very nice." I'm sorry, I must be smelling something entirely different than a boring burnt sugar scent. The opening is phenomenal, the mid is good but the dry down blows. OFG is for people who hate oud, don't want to smell oud, but want to say they own an oud.

On my nose OFG borders on an airy-er version of BR540, but nonetheless the scents not too significantly different. Both are very good saffron bombs and yeah you just need one in your life

Don't really understand this kind of comparison🤔🤔🤔 BR540 XP is more about almond. And OFG is more about lavender than oud. I'm don't like the name of this Initio perfume: Oud for greatness. There's is no oud in the opening. The only oud is in this one is in the name. That why you all folks like this one and say "is a wearable Oud". In fact because of there is no oud🤔 By the way good continuation.

Both smell different on skin than paper. On paper BR540 smells feminine. But on skin myself and most people including women says it smells manly on me. I skin makes the BR540 smell more woody on me

Oud Bouquet is a try first because of the Praline. Statistically most who blind buy OFG are usually blown away.

How about instant crush?! I heard it’s quite similar to these 2 as well. I wanna buy 2 between MFK Baccarat Rouge 540, MFK Baccarat Rouge 540 EXT, Initio Oud for Greatness and Mancera Instant Crush. Longevity is quite important for me and I heard that MFK BR 540 EXT last way less than the original. Which 2 of them would you recommend?

rafadefaria I own BR540, BR540 ext, Mancera Instant Crush, Oud for Greatness, and Parfum Vintage Sunset in Heaven. To be very honest, Sunset in Heaven is better than both BR540 and the ext. It last a lot longer and you get the best of both worlds for a much cheaper price. Regardless, Oud for Greatness layered with Sunset in Heaven or BR540/ext will literally stop people in their tracks. I layer one of the three with OFG at least 4 times per week and people stop me throughout the day begging to know what I am wearing.....

Pine, no way.. Oud for greatness is all about a blast of nutty creaminess and a synthetic woody Drydown. If that initial opening were to stay longer it would be holy grail material to me. The opening to me is 80% Rouh Al Oud. Troyd24 can you recommend something with that opening of OFG? Thanks for the vid!

@@miha3791 I would suggest sampling. These are not safe blind buys. Many get anosmic to BR540. Oud for greatness definitely is masculine leaning whereas BR540 is sweeter. I would always prefer BR540
