I've kept up with the Sajam Slam more than the official CPT tournaments. These team tournaments are amazingly fun to watch
@Dyleniz10 күн бұрын
Same a huge factor for me not paying attention to CPT is the lack of players I actually care for from different regionals actually get matched up like a EndingWalker vs Momochi in evo type match up

1:47:10 Holy Chekhov's Gun Batman! Look up Nephew's "I thought I would be the one coaching..." video.. At about the 20 minute mark Eskay tells him about the sound queue on multi-perfect-parry, and the cogs in Nephew's brain visibly start turning and tests it against Kimberly's run..

Oh man its so cool to see these players implement things. I know hunty got told a few times to implement stance mp to slide under fireballs I think for the Koe matchup, and she just did one for the final match. Amour had a couple similar moments along with Mogu. These are just the first teams so it'll be cool to see the rest especially like Stanz or Phi. It'll be so cool to see adjustments for tomorrow as well. Hopefully I'll catch some of the coaching and review that happens today if there are streams. Thanks Sajam for hosting this Avengers level crossover event for the FGC.

I am worried about team UNC. Bricky picked a hard character and Brian struggles in his coaches matches.
@gamerin4d11 күн бұрын
Bricky is actually doing pretty good at Chun, his matchups are just pretty rough, and he is getting used to a new leverless pad, so once he gets that matchup knowledge and gets the muscle memory for the pad, i think hes going to get pretty scary

switching to juri is a cannon event for him. every slam, there should be a newcomer in brian’s team who starts out on chun and switches to juri 😭
@123armyoftwo10 күн бұрын

@yourfriendlyneighbourhoodc847510 күн бұрын
Watched Bricky train and then play in Ranked, he genuinely has pretty good gamesense and has somewhat grasped Chun-Li, the biggest issue is that he didn't and also *couldn't* put in nearly as much time as anyone else in his category and the difference that made is clear
