My perception is the level of play overall has skyrocketed since the slams started. How cool is that?! I love seeing players like Eskay drastically jumping tiers and PhiDX joining as a player to fight. Love this event format.

I really respect the gameplans they had, you can tell the players were actively thinking about what their opponent is doing. I think learning to Parry and know to use it over blocking, which is hard but would greatly improve their survival and just make their plans last longer and be more successful.
