How did I not realize- Okay, hear me out. When the song started, Patton didn’t seem happy every time Roman And Virgil bickered. He gets worried when Virgil continuously refuses to sing. He keeps glancing between them worriedly for a while. When Roman sings “seven slights at Virgil” he completely gives up on bouncing back with a smile, still glancing back and fourth between the two. When Patton changes the lyric for the first time, he continuously looks at and nudges toward Virgil. I believe that he was trying to cheer him up. When he sees it works, he continues to change his lyrics. This would also explain why he passive aggressively says “shut up” to Virgil, in response to Virgil saying “or maybe that’s vomit”. Either he felt like his trying so hard to help was worthless because of that comment, or he was just done with their bickering. Or maybe both XD. So yeah, rewatch it, I dare you, (because This video deserves to be watched more, It’s beautiful) Does this seem accurate?
