The Sandman Episode 4 Reaction! Dream Vs Lucifer!!

This episode has so much richness in it it’s insane. The demon who greeted Dream in the comics was indeed Etrigan, the Rhyming Demon. In here, they changed to another demon in the comics which is of course Squatterbloat. As for the designs of Hell, Gaiman took inspiration from Jean Paul Sartre (“Hell is other people”) and Dante’s Inferno, with the forest of s*cide (in the comics, Dream even mentions that the forest has grown much larger since he visited) Plus John giving the Amulet to Rosemary is so different from the comics that it adds so much more depth to John, bc in the comics, John just kills her.

Oh I totally forgot he kills Rosemary in the comics. Yes that is a great change then made. I would have like if they kept that line of the forest getting larger since he last visited. I think it would added a lot more of the vibe they were already emitting.
