I am kind of burnt out so I am taking a break for the moment. It crushes my motivation a bit when each subsequent video takes more work but gets fewer views. :) Regardless of the number of views though, I am still happy with what I create. I have been doing music and art in various forms my whole life, so I am sure I will get back to it at some point.

@@XinferisTV I understand, just checking in on something I enjoyed watching and hope you get back to a channel I enjoy soon. The reason I like your channel is AI streaming is still awash with the likes of 'Harry Potter in a rave party' or 'Star Wars as a 1950's western'. Original themes like yours matter and deserve more recogition. Your Lovecraftian/Sci Fi/Retro niche pushes a lot of creative buttons that's lacking elsewhere in quite so an original way.. All the best

Hello, your videos are impressive and have excellent quality. This particular video has an added value which is its story. If you add a voice-over narrating the story, I assure you that the narration will be much more engaging and you will increase the views. Thank you for your videos.

I have contemplated creating videos with voice-over narration. There are a couple reasons I haven't done it though. The first is that my videos have always been kind of a platform for my music. So in a sense they are music videos, even if I spend a lot of effort on the video aspect. Once I add narration then the voice would be the story and video and less so the music. The other thing is that my videos without a story tend to get far more views. I know that views aren't everything but it's a bit frustrating putting in the massive amount of effort it takes to formulate a story that is mostly told with images, and for it to only get 1000 views. On my other channel where I have a single image with some music, I can get over 1000 views. It doesn't mean that I don't put a lot of effort into that single image, or that on this channel I put in low effort into the images I create. It's just that creating a whole narrative, and designing everything that needs to go along with that narrative is extremely time consuming. That being said, I am still considering it. I don't know if I would do it on this channel, or create another channel for it though. I think that short films similar to this one, but with narration could be quite interesting to produce.

A common thing I do when building sounds, is have a primary synth sound that is typically not too complex. This is the primary component of the sound. Then I have another evolving or textured synth that I blend in with the primary synth to make things sound more interesting. It's not always this straight forward, and sometimes a single sound will be built from more than two components. And other times a single synth on its own already sounds good enough. The primary plugins I am using are as follows: Native Instruments Komplete 14 CE Arturia V Collection X Arturia FX Collection 4 e-he Repro-5 Below are the key components of the sounds for each part. I am not including effects I used that I don't consider a key component of the sounds (for example reverbs and delays). Part 1 - u-he Repro 5 and Native Instruments Ashlight Part 2 - Arturia DX7 V Part 3 - Arturia Jun-6 V and Native Instruments Symphony Series Brass Ensemble (in combination with Arturia Dist COLDFIRE) Part 4 - u-he Repro 5 and Pharlight The full set of gear I use is in the video description.
