If only the big studios would realize there is market for this kind of sci-fi. Oh well.
@XinferisTV9 сағат бұрын
Well maybe if my videos get millions of views they will change their minds and hire me to work on the movies too. ;) Or if my videos were that popular I could start a Kickstarter to actually make a fully length movie with the same aesthetic but with practical effects. I don't see that ever happening though. :)

I admire your work very much. Midjourney as I use it can be so hit or miss. I'm amazed at your results. Not sure if it is my prompts or not, but I hope to learn how to make things on your level soon. So many worlds and beings I want to give form. Great video!
@XinferisTV3 күн бұрын
Midjourney is amazing but results can definitely be hit or miss. I start by using a prompt that statistically has a high probability of creating a result I like, create a lot of images, and then pick the best images from that. I spend a lot of time on the style portion of my prompts, refining them to get results that I like stylistically, and reuse them when I want to get that same style. I have some tutorials in the comments of some of my videos if you want some tips and tricks.

Great stuff, love the style of the images. How many did you have to generate to get this wonderful selection.
@XinferisTV4 күн бұрын
Not sure to be honest. I generated these images probably a month ago but didn't get around to using them yet. I would say I have to create about 2000 images for the average video. That is excluding any experimentation to get different styles or to test different concepts.

You've got some kinds of different creature representations in this video. As usual, very good. Would you characterize this imagery as representing the future interaction of humans with aliens, or the future evolution of humans themselves? I can see either. Again, thanks for your creativity!

Thank you. I was going for a more cosmic horror theme rather than pure science fiction with this one. Both genres definitely have a lot of overlapping themes though.

I'm re-reading through Alistair Reynolds' 'Revenger' trilogy. This aesthetic fits it so perfectly, you almost think that the AI read the books. (Every sci fi fan should read them. Its set in a far faaaaar future, super hi and low tech mix with mad shit aliens, robots and pirates, and Sunjammers hauling themselves about with ions and hundreds of acres of light-sail, chasing each other around the 'Old Sun', while the Solar System has had the planets shattered and turned into countless small worlds. It's some of the most imaginative and darkest sci fi I've ever read, and I've read a lot. I can't recommend it highly enough. The audible book version is brilliantly read/performed as well).

watching the images is one part but the music adds more depth and deepness to the visuals.
@XinferisTV5 күн бұрын
Thank you. Although I am really into making the art, the music is the main part of all of this for me. I am a musician first and foremost, and I started creating this art as a way of complimenting my music. Over time it has become more of a cohesive thing though. The music I make has always been intended to be my own style of "soundtrack" music. So creating concepts, art and music that work as a cohesive experience is what I aim at now. So In a sense, I try to create a world for the music I make now.

I always wished to be released into space. The 2nd Heaven is probably were we belong anyways and why am I mystfied by this? For the longest time I never felt like I belonged like I never should have been here yet space my entire life I felt a strange sense of calmness just even to idea a d always existed to traverse to unknown. Maybe God doesn't make mistakes but I don't belong on earth i dont think i ever did.

What is great about your images is that, while they are fantastic, they represent a believable picture of a future where humans and machines have been merged. And how this future has gone horribly wrong.
@XinferisTV8 күн бұрын
Thank you! That's exactly the idea. :)
@cat-star54038 күн бұрын
Wow, excellent! I really wish film producers would use these concepts in their sci-fi movies, although I think the regular viewing audience might be totally freaked out by them.
@XinferisTV8 күн бұрын
@cat-star5403 Not all movies have to be made for all audiences. It would be kind of fun if I ever got a budget to make a movie with a style like this, solely using practical effects. :) And of course scored with my own music.
