A comprehensive summary of the Satavahana era. Andhras were mentioned in Itihasas as well. Their importance in Ajanta, Ellora & Sarnath could have been included. Modern political leaders in Andhra seem to have forgotten the Vedic culture of Satavahanas. Thanks for posting this video with valuable information.

Shatavahanas are andhra brahmins . At that time caste system was not based on birth but karma .later from gupta time it started becoming by birth and it kept changing and present system was british one .they reimposed it on hindus .

Are Satavahana and Sathan in Tamil land are related. Sathan is a kind of Demigod referred in the tamil epic Silapathikaram written during the same period of Satavahanas. Stavahana caves in Kaneri Mumbai have statues of Avalokeshwara/Padmapani. Sathan as depicted in Sithannavasal paintings in Tamilnadu is also somewhat similar to Avalokeshwara/Padmapani.

Yes, I am not correct in many aspects. In a diverse country like ours, people from the north make many mistakes in southern pronunciations and so does the people from the south. Still we are united and that is the true beauty of it. I will definitely try to improve. Thanks for watching the video.

Yes puranas are not history. But there is historicity in them.
