This is so true...I remember the salesman also coming to my house for this session, and they were trying their best to make me feel inferior in front of them. They asked me questions and I gave the correct answer, but they denied it, and literally REFRAMED my sentence into their own words. I looked at them and I knew they were up to no good. My parents also understood what the salesman was trying to do, but they still wanted to try it. The salesman said that I could one day's classes for free just for trial and then we could take our decision. All I want to suggest is, NEVER BELIEVE IN THEIR WORDS. They said it was a trial, but then started calling my parents to come to the tuition center for the payment. It was an absolute chaos.

a byju's salesman forcefully tried to enter my home when my parents were away. he called my parents in the morning that day to confirm the appointment, my parents informed him that they won't be available. despite that he kept calling them multiple times throughout the day to ask if they'll be able to make it. even after continuously saying no, he made his way to our house and said that he'll wait for them to come. my parents told him not to do that but he didn't listen, came to my front door and started convincing me to open the door for him so he can wait inside (even when I told him I was alone at home and thus can't do that). when I kept saying no, he burst out in anger and started cursing at me and my family. that went on for a while until neighbours came and sent him away. these ppl were truly a different breed, literally no shame or fear in their bones. although when the toxic work culture reports of the company came out, I did kinda understand why they were like that. the main culprit was the company and higher ups, and they deserve all the hate that they're getting

I remember one byju's guy called my dad and said that he wanted to actually come home to conduct a session with my brother, my dad denied but still he insisted so my dad gave in. When he came, unfortunately my bad luck that i was in the hall with my phone and he saw me. I went into my room but he made my parent's call me and he wanted to conduct a session with us both. He started the session he started asking questions which i replied to, he spoke to my father about the fee structure and all of it, my dad said no and my dad replied that they're already going to a tuition centre. He still insisted on enrolling us. He started insulting me. He started insulting my tuition sir. To which my dad replied " i have trust on my daughter, she can do it" . I was overwhelmed, in a respectful way my dad let him out of our house. Glad my dad did that. Im grateful for my parents.

I was a student of byjus from class 8 to class 10 I must say that the course model in byjus app the video lectures, the questions, almost every thing on byjus application was top notch literally I was already good in academics and before byjus I used to just memories questions and answers and I don't learned them or understand them but when I bought byjus started studying by its lecture then I realised that how to learn by concepts and not do just ratta...i must say that their app and videos lecture were really really engaging...And yes the salesman were literally pain in ass

Exactly!!! as a child back then, it was really amazing to study like that. I started having interests in subjects I never liked before. Their only fault was greed. Had they kept it simple it would still have thrived. They invested too much into something that couldn't generate as much profit. But the way they taught was amazing. Even now if someone plans to do this again they'll thrive and many students prefer online studies too nowadays. It's still a brilliant idea for someone who knows how to do this right

I was a victim of this! Toxic work culture. As an employee I was a part of this. It gave me many health issues in very short period of time. Luckily, I had the financial backing so I could resign. They were literally scamming all those parents. This was the biggest regret of my life to buy the course. I remember the mentor who was assigned to me, how he brainwashed and manipulated my father to buy the course , in the end he succeeded. And another truth i found out throughout the coaching days is that, those lectures WERE NOT LIVE , those were recorded classes they were broadcasting. One day , in the end of a class, the teacher once mentioned the date which wasnt actually the current date on that day. Like, i was watching that lecture on late December and he said something like "its september so we still have enough time". I quit taking classes right after that and filed case against them. They were also not providing the demanded and promised services. Bunch of liars they are. After my father moved all the money from bank, we started getting threat calls from them. We didnt care tbh . They already snatched a good amount from us. So this was my personal experience

Ye dekh kar mere parents ne mujhe 7th se hi allen overseas me dal diya (mai nri hu aur gulf me rehta hu). Unka logic ye tha ki agar ye screen pe hai to kuch productive kare. Mujhe ye classes bilkul bhi nahi pasand thi. Phir mere parents ko soojha ki isko byjus pasand hai to byjus me daal dete hai. Hamare saath us sales representative ne ek online meet set up ki aur jaisa aapne bataya, vaisa hi mere saath hua. Unhone pehle mujhe pucha ki mere interests kya hai etc. aur phir mujhse vo same circle me kitne corners wala pucha. Kyuki meri math bahut strong thi, maine vo question answer kiya. Phir mujhe pi ke bare me pucha gaya, jo ki 9th class ka syllabus hota hai. Vo mai nahi bata paya but mere papa ne mujhe support karte hue unhe hi bola ki ye abhi padhaya nahi gaya hai. But phir unhone mujhe aisa question pucha jo hamne chaar saal pehle padh lar chhod diya tha, aur vo tha ki ear ke 3 bones ka naam batao. Mai nahi bata paya aur unhone phir video dikhaya aur mere parents ko bola ki byjus is a solution. Phir uske baad mere papa aur unhone kuch dino baat karke almost sab kuch set kar diya tha. But apparently mere papa ke sath unki baat ye hui thi ki 3 saal ka course with live teacher interaction, but jab ham pay larne se pehle package jo unhone bheja tha vo delh rahe the, usme 3 years course with only one year live teacher interaction tha. Ye dekh kar ki hame thaga ja raha tha, mere papa ne cancel kar diya. Aur aaj jab mai ye video dekh raha hu tab mujhe realize ho raha hai ki ye cheez ye sabke saath karte hai. i was someone who got caught in this mess when i was in 8th grade (2 year ago) i had a 5 year course till 12th, but they stopped clases mid september as a lot of teachers were resigning. so basically, my 5 year course got cut down to a 2.5 year course without a refund. Regardless of all the losses, I really have to appreciate and thank Byju's for getting my iq up. I started to question things, I started to understand better, I started to gain curiosity. I somehow escaped their scam once. When I was studying in Oman in ISS ,2017, BYJUS conducted an exam, consisting of Logical, Maths, GK and Science Questions. I was in 5th, I scored the highest in the Junior section like 97% and another boy, like 96%. They called my Parents and told them to visit their salesman. I went there in a huge office. He asked me some difficult questions of my level, including the question 'how many points in a circle?' I said it's infinite. He was like okay, which subject was difficult for you, I said Social Science/History. I knew about their scams, so I just decided to simply trick them. They answered so many questions related to social science, and i answered all of em, because I love history. After all that, they said that he is a good kid and to pay like 80,000 for classes. My dad said I'll think about it and left. And i said to my dad "I don't need those classes, who would take 80000 for some online class?' and my father accepted, he deleted the contact. They contacted us through other salesmen repeatedly, and it was fun. I would take the call and say 'wrong number bhai' or 'not interested' and cut suddenly 😂😂

The management would also yell at their staff as most of their staff would be new to dubai and usually be desperate to build a new life in dubai. We too had a similar experience in one of the centres in Bangalore. Our son was in 9th grade. They assessed him by giving questions from 10th grade. At the end of the session, they started putting pressure on us to close the sale the very next day. But we were cool parents, our son passed out this year with flying colours without any pressure. Parents please trust your children and motivate them to do their best. Give them additional support only in the subjects they require. At the end of the day, they are children and need to enjoy their childhood too.

So I booked giving half payment 5k and after researching some of their reviews I told I didn't want their course but they said the refund will take time. I emailed them and whatsapp my counselor daily for refund but they keep on telling me this n that excuse after excuse I waited for one n half months for refund but they still didn't redund so I threatened them saying I will file FIR in police station and also spread in news so after two days they refunded my money back at last. But before that I was so mentally disturbed with all the delay n excuses daily. They deserve this downfall, what you sow you will reap ... especially after exploitation innocent students n parents.

​​@@Janetsakurabro I can totally relate to this I was first going to enroll in the offline centre of byjus but on the next day my dad got a call from the byjus for the online classes and stuffs they talked so politely and they were like if you don't like the course so you can enroll for the cancellation and get full refund if you apply for it within 21 days and they said so much good stuffs about their teachings and the facilities it was all lies I couldn't understand a thing at first they allotted me the wrong batch it took like a 10 days for them to change my batch I applied for cancellation within a week but more than a month of argument, threatening and everything we recieved like a half of the payment and we lost our 65k they said they gave me recorded lecture sd card for 65k🙂 they didn't give me tab or anything to insert the sd card I had to buy a seperate device for that and the recorded lecture was shit too there is nothing new you can get those things in their app for free 🤡 SO YEAH THEY DO DESERVE THE DOWNFALL I was so mentally disturbed and my starting of the 11th was tough because of this I couldn't even study properly there was just so much going on it took me so much time to recover and complete the backlogs and stuffs

I am also a byju's victim. As you said they were literally forcing me and my parents for the 4 years subscription. They asked me 4 questions and l was only capable to answer 1 or two of their questions ,they also said that my parents could help me answering. They showed me the video of the wrong answered concept and again asked me question. However my parents were impressed by that and they decided to buy the subscription. I denied for that and I was trying to make my parents understand but they were just too blind for my good education .And finally we took the subscription , in the starting of my classes I used to feel very good but this came to an end . After 2 or 3 months I was not able to attend the classes regularly because after a whole tiring day my body used to get tire as hell and after all I am a teenager . I had to to self study , learn the concepts , do my school h.w and the h.w given after the live classes . I used to feel suffocating . You now I couldn't even play with my friends or get fresh air all I used to do is to be locked in the room and study. I couldn't even tell my parents about my condition as they will think that I am just making excuses. I turned into introvert and sometimes even I cry remembering all this . This all lead to my bad result in 7th grade. BTW , I using byju's tab right now.

Even a simple question teachers were not able to answer and they were just reading out from the book. I'm a "victim of byjus" When I was in 10th(it was my 10th starting days) they called me & talked to my parents they asked me some questions & after that they told me to buy a membership they told me that they will teach me online & have to pay just 10000 as it was lockdown period I agree with them my parents paid 10000 instantly 3rd day that mentor name shalini told me to pay 5000 more total 33000 they took from me 😢 & my experience with byjus was very bad they don't clear yr basic to be honest I'm very bad in math they don't teach math and science properly and even they don't teach u all subjects only maths & science I could not able to understand anything but as my parents had paid a large amount of money I didn't told them but before 2 months of board exams I told them I don't understand any thing from byjus then they admitted me in a tution & I got 65℅ in 10th i could get more but the time was not enough. Overall it's was very bad experience teaching method was also not good there was pre recorded videos 😢

I saw and liked the BYJU'S video's in pandemic time. After that a chain of calls started to come. I foolishly attended zoom meeting with them also. Everytime i refuse the more they started to call me. At first i use to talk politely to them but later on i lost my temper. I remember once i told them "tum log to piche hi pad gaye ho yaar". Ur video proved my decision correct but at the same time i m feeling pity on those BYJU'S employees and now i realize why they were so desperate 😢.
