I agree with Rad Garage. This is a detailing not like every washing car video now is called "SATISFYING DETAILING" .... what was done ? pressure washer, shampoo, vacuum, some sealant by DA 8" and finito - detailing..... wtf..... Detailing is a machine polishing - getting much from the lost paint.

Of course there's Amazon, but there are so many different brands but they all look like the come from the same place anyway, are they even quality? Would love to know where you've had the most luck! Thanks!

They only carry high quality products but have stuff for all budgets. Website is super user friendly and they ship super quick. And for free above $100 I believe. If you're in Toronto there is also a store called Pro Detailing Supplies. They have a store front location just behind Pearson. in general, when doing an initial rinse on a dry car, wouldn't using a gentle hose rinse be better than using the pressure washer? It seems to me that using the pressure washer on dry dirt, oil, road grime, etc, has the potential to scratch the finish as the high pressure water forces the dry stuff across the paint surface. Using the pressure washer to rinse after the dirt and debris is lossened with soapy water is OK. your thoughts?
@ChromaticGarage4 жыл бұрын
Typically I would agree and will always pretreat with ONR at a minimum. But this is brand new and as you can see has little to zero debris on the car. It was also being corrected so any minimal marring was going to be gone anyways. Thanks for the comment
@TerrificFlow4 жыл бұрын
I disagree with you on that one. A pressure washer used on moderate pressure (1000-1500 psi) at an angle will remove the loose dirt better than just a garden hose, and won't cause more damage than driving the car through everyday grime and dirt. Using a garden hose will do the same than a pressure washer, push dirt off the car, and rinse off, just at a lower level. Now if the dirt that is detached and transported across the panel with water can scrath the paint, we might as well stop trying to maintain the paint on our car, and use kitchen sponges.
