Well actually 🤓 The tubax is a variation of the contrabass and subcontrabass saxophones

This only shows the main family of Bb and Eb saxophones. There are quite a few variants not included. Some will argue that the Tubax isn't a saxophone. While the key is Bb or Eb, the fingerings and pitch range are the same.... the bore size/shape is different and so are the tonal characteristics. There's a video of a duet between a tubax and a contrabass sax that demonstrates the differences quite well. I forget which channel.
