Evangelicals don't think at all, but neither do liberal or progressive Christians. Evangelicals have made virtually no contributions to the arts, music, philosophy, creation care, etc. I am not sure if it is because of premillennialism and this idea that the whole world is going to burn and therefore we don't need to do anything, or just plain fundamentalism that can't see anything if there is no chapter and verse for them to do it, but one thing is for sure, evangelicals can be some of the most unthinking people out there, which is one of the reasons that I think so many people are deconstructing. They simply find evangelicals so frustratingly unthinking and not willing to engage on complex issues.

Stephen Meyer, John Lennox, Many Doctors, researchers, scientists, teachers, musicians, Artist are out there in local communities who are using their gifts to glorify God and serve others. Don’t overlook the small things….they may a big “well done” from the Lord.

Actually these “evangelical” intellectuals are usually often amillennial which leads to the same conclusion that there is no point in bettering this world.
