Eh, 'Resident Evil'-y or not, it's a wonderful game...I never cared about calling a game unfaithful to a franchise. Is it good? That it's dissimilar to anything else we'd seen up to that point shouldn't matter. It's spiritually faithful I think. Resident Evil has never been exclusively one style or theme.

Healing in videogames is always weird but I think part of what makes the Chem fluid work so well is because Ethan is a molded and already has a naturally high healing ability from it
