Steal? He’s great for sure and this is no knock against his game or talent, but how many teams in the NBA right now does it make sense to draft a 3-4 year college rookie to help build around. It speeds up the time frame on your rebuilding process, unless you’re a team in win now mode like the heat who have to maximize the production they get from EVERY roster spot. I wouldn’t say steal, I would say he fits perfectly with the heats plans.

Knew it was a good pick when I saw how he'd post up people in the NCAA. So poised and fundamentally sound. Don't usually see such a developed post-up game from a non traditional big and you know smaller guys aren't great defending that. Solid defender and cutter and shooter.
