Kai is now 7'3" and 246.04 pounds, turning 22 years old this May 11, 2002. This is the real reason for his improvement. He cannot easily be pushed around anymore. When he was 19 yrs. old he went to the USA to train, he was 7'1" and 218 pounds. He joined the G league. The pandemic hit all nations and Sotto went back to the Philippines. Chet Holmgren is 7'1" 207 pounds, 22 yrs old; Nicola Jokic is 6'9" or 6'10" and 283.8 pounds, 29 yrs. old. Therefore, as Kai grows older and meets his target weight of 270 pounds (Body Mass Index) BMI of 22, and borderline weight before obesity, he will be a powerhouse. His father Irvin Sotto is a retired basketball player, 6'7", and weighs almost 300 pounds due to inactivity, there is no doubt Kai will be a powerhouse soon. Anywhere and any team that will draft Kai will be an advantage for them.

Everything about this video is ridiculous from trying to say he “showcased” his talents against 3rd rate competition in Australia to a comparison to with Johnathan kuminga. Clearly you have a big body with coordination which should give him a chance at an nba career but he has no intensity, strength, or drive. Having been a warriors season ticket holder for many years the reason the warriors may want to sign him would be to sell tickets because when you are at the games it’s easy to see a substantial number of paying warriors fans are Filipino. Will he help the warriors NO will they sign him maybe but it would be a two way contract and I think he will get eaten up in the G league because he’s to damn weak and timid to play in the states.
