Around this time I believe it's when nascar was getting approved for state commissions. If you fix a race it's creates a problem with gambling and presents the idea that it's fixed. You wouldn't be approved and it hurts the creditability of the sport. I'm sure the angry people are just people from MWR because it basically shut down the company. They never recovered and Rob kuffman finished the job.
