Every band has influences which is cool and expected. But when a bunch of 20 somethings just try to be the next version of a style it seems too forced. Elvis and Stones come to mind. They blatantly took black blues art and presented it to white people. Now white guys are imitating old dead white guys who just put twist on old dead black guys. You want fresh stuff? Tool. Slipknot. RageATM. SOME later Zeppelin. Some rap and hip hop.
