Hi friends! To know how to recover from such an insane learning routine here's!... How Batman Manages His Sleep ➤ kzbin.info/www/bejne/l6iqq5iGfrNkbKs I tried to bump up the "shine" on the edit a bit more on this one... (only one key frame mistake I saw right before hitting that publish button lol 😰). Let me know what you think! 🥳

He actually mastered them all. Ra's Al Ghul once said that Batman is the best warrior in the world. That's on top of being the World’s greatest detective, Tactician, and one of the world's greatest scientific minds.

@@Logan-yt1lj True, however, he does that utilizing his legendary scientific, deductive, and tactical/strategic prowess to win. Without it, he would get squashed like a bug on a windshield because he has no special abilities to fight them head-up. Most times he either stays in the background coordinating his JL teammates to hit the weakness or is in the field buying time until one shows up like he did with Flash and Reverse-Flash. Chuck Dixon said it best Batman is a wish-fulfillment character.

My theory about how Batman managed to learn that many styles in the time that he did is due to his teachers knowing multiple styles already and subsequently teaching him those styles. With this, it would greatly expedite the amount of time taken to learn all of them than if he were to go out and learn them individually. Finally, wonderful video
@TheLyingFigure16 күн бұрын
That's what I figured, if you get a karate master who is also a master of judo and jiu-jitsu then that would be 3 and the amount of overlap would then let him learn Sambo, Brazilian jiu-jitsu, kenpo, and other karate forms much faster. I'd imagine Kung fu would be the same since most of the different styles are closely related as well.
@informationjunkie5 ай бұрын
A lot of 'styles' are actually great bases for fighting generally. Even just the basics in Boxing, Muay Thai & Taekwondo will give you a pretty good base for arts with more specialised techniques like Savate & Kung fu. In contrast are things like Wing Chun or Capoeira. While they might have pros in a fight, neither are very intuitive fighting styles, & will take (IMO) significantly more time to "master".

Well, it’s just ridiculous when you really look at it. The writers simply went overboard making him out to be this ultimate martial artist. He’s traveling the world in the span of roughly twelve to maybe fifteen years. On top of martial arts he’s learning everything from cryptography, computer science, chemistry, physics, engineering, aviation, escape artistry, tracking, criminology, infiltration, lockpicking, stealth, medical science, tactical driving and pretty much everything else. You really think you’re going to fit 127 different martial arts with all this other stuff you’re learning? Depending on what martial art you study it can take YEARS to master ONE. This just shows that people aren’t aware of the involved process of what it takes to be a martial arts master.

That's true for most people. Ya know, the people who only practice a couple hours (maybe) 2-3 times a week (maybe).

True even if you know 3 martial arts styles. He is still going to be more efficient at one style than the other styles.
@malcolmsaintАй бұрын
Given that hes a super genius, he probably didnt need as much time to learn. Im sure he has a photographic memory, and can recall similarities between different styles to learn better.

Great video with a good in-depth explanation. What's even crazier and more impressive is that there are a handful of other humans, each with their own combat skill, experience, and overall prowess, who can and have matched or surpassed Bruce Wayne/Batman. And this is before including superhuman characters, especially by fictional standards.

Short answer: If you understand and done the fundamentals/basics of fighting and its styles, whether it is striking or grappling, you can just take a few that weren't in previously style For example: - If you learn Muay Thai, you can try learn Boxing's different stances or Lethwei's headbutt techniques quicker - If you learn Lucha Libre, you can skip Freestyle Wrestling and Parkour Answer around Batman: **Watch the video**

Sorry. Even by fictional standards I can never buy the line that Batman has MASTERED 127 martial arts. He might know a great deal about all of them but not have mastered them. If he was Lady Shiva I might be more inclined to believe as she does nothing else other than study martial arts and has a side hustle as an assassin. This Bat mania is getting out of control

@@tayc9542 Fiction also has to have internal consistency otherwise there is nothing to stop writers from confirming that Batman can fly and has sonar like a real bat....Batman's whole schtick has always been that "he is an ordinary man that can do extraordinary things".....with that in mind I accept that "prep time" is pretty much his super power at this point...I also accept that he has trained himself to the pinnacle of human achievement...is the world's greatest detective...possesses such a strategic analytical mind that he can think up contingencies to take out the Justice League....and sorta kinda runs a multi-billion dollar corporation...but to say that he has not only studied but *MASTERED* 127 martial arts (and I accept that Batman is an extraordinarily gifted athlete and there may be a great deal of similarities between a number of martial arts thereby making some of them a "quick study" for him) for a what is a normal human being is fanciful. Say he has super powers and be done with it...doesn't have to be big like super strength or speed...he could be like Taskmaster who can copy every move he sees but nevertheless still has to train
