Started playing MK11 last week and now I'm more into the game I needed this information. This video is perfect. All the info I needed is presented in a clear and concise manner. Was wondering just how to figure which moves are safe on block and how to figure out which moves can and cannot be used in kombos.

This is why I find it hard to play this game casually. I can't be bothered to learn all the frame data, but I hate losing matches.
@driverxone94538 жыл бұрын
it's not necessary to learn the exact frame data. I am a solid player imo and I don't know exactly the frame data, I just know what strings can I do and what strings I can't do.

Okay I have a question. How does block advantage work on throws. I notice in the frame data that throws have both block and hit advantage. the hit advantage I understand, but how does the block advantage on throws work?
@misternobody46446 жыл бұрын
Beaufort14 This post is old, but I'll answer it anyway. There is no block advantage--you cannot block a throw. You can either break the throw (by guessing the right key press right when they grab you) or dodge the throw by holding the down key without blocking.

So if there was a move that was 1000 hit advantage it still wouldn't combo? It confuses me. Is the ability to combo on ground an inherent trait of certain moves? Can I tell by the frame data?

Great video! I appreciate it and I'm damn sure the community appreciates it! But I'm just curious.....why do some moves have the - sign before its recovery frames? Does that mean it recovers faster than a move without a - sign? This applies mostly projectile moves. For example would a move that recovers in -30 frames recover faster than a move that recovers in 35 frames?

dude, do you think that (in the next game of course) they should remove all the frame data "in-game" (kinda like in the Street Fighter games) let the community discover by themselves, what is safe, and what is "minus", what it is punishable, etc... or do you think that this doesn't affect the way the community evolves ??
@HallucinogenX8 жыл бұрын
+Diego De Souza Wow why would they do that?In fact every other game should show the frame data in-game.There are several people besides the "pros" who also play the game.
@Diego92Souza8 жыл бұрын
Hallucinogen X that's the whole point (of my argument), the casual players don't know what frame data is (and the ones who know, don't care), and it would force the "pros" to lvl up !! but again, it's a question, i want their opinion... lel
@HallucinogenX8 жыл бұрын
Diego De Souza Well frame data can be very helpful for the casual players and players who want to get better at the game and become pros themselves some day can really benefit from it.Finding out frame data imo is an unnecessary chore that scares away a lot of players.
@medleyoz8 жыл бұрын
+Hallucinogen X totally agree and don't understand why street fighter 5 (beta at least) doesn't have in game frame data. especially when its just datamined from the pc version anyway
@fgcaceninja8 жыл бұрын
+Diego De Souza No.. It helps the community alot. One way or another we'll find the correct frame data. Some stuff in the game still doesn't tell the frame data correctly.

Ketchup and Mustard have real fans that want long videos, not just "2,3". I don't know if that is the way the music works but the music is pretty noticeable and by well known people.

You can hold certain movers such as scorpions fireball, lui kangs fireball, and dvorahs bug for extended periods of time. During this extended time if you run the move will no longer come out and you can follow up with a different move.
