Currently freezing but sweating at the same time. My shirt got really wet from sweat while I had a tank top underneath so you know it’s real. Slept and woke up an hour later to my blanket being wet as well from sweating but I was still freezing cold and there’s a vent blowing heat right above me. This is horrible.

Just had one of the worst nights of my life. It's winter so I thought I was just cold last night when I couldn't stop shaking for two hours after putting on sweat clothes and extra blankets. That was until I woke up this morning feeling hot and aching with a severe headache from a fever. Now Tylenol and ibuprofen is finally kicking in and I'm drenched in sweat and still feeling ehh but not like I'm on the verge of death like last night and this morning at least.

Whenever I get a fever, I'm looking forward to the moment when I sweat like I've just jumped into a pool. Because at that point the fever usually stops and I start feeling better. (Sometimes it takes 2-3 "sweat sessions" before the fever stops... but it's alwaysa big relief). However, that might only work because I'm still young.

Keeping the fever longer to do what it has to do is better if you can sustain it. If you break it too early it'll keep coming back cause it's not done fighting.

imagine ...this is probably what drug addicts go through (often) if they didnt get their fix. Awful. im having a fever right now ( not due drugs haha ) and everytime i start feeling kinda warm, i make sure to even put on another hoodie an drink some tea, to make the body heat up as fast and as much as possible. With this i always noticed i have fewer sweat sessions!

Cause people are now educated and know the truth. Imagine after 400 500 years when science will rise even more when technology will be way advanced than what it already is. The whole world in majority will be believe in science. And religion may still be there as moral schools but the bull shit of god will no longer be a thing.

I keep feeling hot and cold my headache goes away then comes back , dry mouth only when the headache kicks in.I showered with cold water the water would still feel warm here and there. All these symptoms showed up after I woke up. But I instantly felt the headache when I was waking up. I was super sweaty and my bed was wet with sweat

It depends on if you can suffer through it or not. Some ppl can deal with a 102 degree fever others like myself can't. I will literally cry, pain/discomfort whatever you wanna call it is not my strong suit! It's not like my body stops fighting the infection it's just not as hostile of an environment which don't forget messes with other cells too when you have a fever.
