solo for 9 yrs you just need to treat as a game like I do to many treat as a second job or life most of us play an hour or two and a few times a week and move on with our life! corps are ok if you want to PVP otherwise not important

Being in a player corp really gives things a whole new dimension. I'm currently in Ryba, which is a public corp mostly running PvP fleets in the region of Syndicate at the moment and trying to train fleets of capable PvP pilots. Our long-term goal is to capture and hold two constellations at the north of Fountain but that of course requires us to grow quite a bit. Normal players are not required to do almost anything if they don't want to but there are always various common goals you can contribute to.

Sounds like they plan to shrink the size of 'usable' space (aka shrink the game). Which, I guess makes sense, there's a lot of systems that tend to have less than 5 players at any given time. Why spend server resources to run those "zones".
