My Dad was Cheif designer for International from 62 to 71 and the Scout 2 was not going to be produced and my father pushed management to go to production...He recently passed away and was surprised at the fact it has become so iconic..I have years of his renderings...he was responsible for much of their products

Nice work for such a short time. Just getting rid of that rust properly is a big undertaking all by itself. Wish you took more time and got it all out. Looking at that rust brings back memories (bad ones) from when I had a 1979, bought brand new. It started rusting in about a year. Worked so hard to get rid of the rust, but the rust won. Only Scout that I've seen on YT or for sale with the tan interior that I had. I had the bucket seats in the front.

Fantastic video - sir may I ask you, how much do you charge to perform the exact same rust repair ? Meaning, just to perform the rust repair. Thanks and again - AWESOME VIDEO!

Great video. Wish there would have been more detail around inner/ outer rocker repair since this is what I’m currently doing to mine. But, I understand the point of the video. Also, no start or test drive after it was complete?

Love your videos but don’t understand why rust holes were left another couple days More ?

Totally get the thought behind this but the goal of the project was for us to create a Scout that looked like it had been used and driven for 25 years. Keeping some of the rust around the wheel wells and other places supported is what the production company wanted.
