youtube videos about the SCP always give me a laugh. you'd think it'd have a bigger presence online because it's entertaining (at least to me) but why can I mainly find it on youtube and nowhere else? i mean there are websites about it but I mainly find info on youtube. it should have its own dedicated website about SCPs. i think it would be fun!

A few years ago I explored a virgin cave in middle Tennessee. I lowered a ladder to climb down. There was a domed chamber, 35 feet dewn. I explored about 75 feet down one passage. then it got too narrow to go further. The air was almost suffocating.. Always tell someone when and where you go spelunking. A neighbor got stuck in a small cave opebing, and we had to rescue him with a ladder.

What's really funny is DARPA is not using insects but creating super tiny highly efficient drones that are super lightweight and look like cicadas. And this year we have a double hatch of cicadas. It would be very easy to hide a bunch of drones in the swarms of cicadas flying around this summer. A man in Utah was walking his dog when a swarm of these drones flew right overhead but one of them hit a telephone pole in front of him and he picked it up brought it home with him.

Re: SCP-498 Apparently the Foundation is so dense they haven't thought of just launching it into space. There's no sound in a vacuum. It could go off for the rest of time and nobody would notice.

It is not that there is no sound in space, it is that sound is a mechanical wave that requires a medium to travel through and since there isn't that much stuff in space then sound can't travel. Also it is supposed to be so powerful that it can create blackholes, so it probably would also work on space, the energy would not just dissapear

The closest they have to that is SCP-500, or Panacea, it’s a bottle of 50 pills that can cure any ailment, anomalous or otherwise. However there are only 50 original pills, and almost half of them have been used for scientific purposes, and one researcher who used it to cure a nasty hangover 😅

I was sleeping so the section "What if you never go outside had me gripped in fear when I was near waking up. I still remember some parts and it freaks me out. That's some good creepy pasta, either that or it's extra effective bc I wasn't fully awake. I was scared either way. 2:58:11 woke up maybe 10 seconds before here where I stopped but I was still gripped in fear. Finished the rest of the story and man that's is sad. Even Amy stopped coming over. But is John really crazy or was the ending just Infograohics way of making us doubt some more because it worked on me. Almost anyway. How'd they get him out? Why not bring the other friends? The story just cuts to the asylum.
