Weight difference was crazy. I think if J really wanted to go 3 rounds I think he could survive. He would take damage but he could've gone to round 2 he tapped like right when the round ended. Initiating the grappling was a big mistake but he did good on the bottom did some damage.He was prolly like ya know what I'm taking damage and I got work tommorow not worth it then tapped. Would love to see a rematch after J gets up to like 230-240 I think thats a wayy different fight.

7+ seconds after initial tap before the onslaught, shows they had the worst ref in there with that big of a weight difference. That's when fighters get really fuggin hurt. J gottem was pretty fucking calm for how disrespected he got. I could see a fighter knocking a ref out for something so blatant.

First, the lighter fighter tapped and referee didn’t see. Second, referee didn’t stop the fight when he wasn’t defending himself anymore. If you aren’t defending then a couple of punches by a 280lb man can cause so much harm. Both guys did good!

Yeah this is exactly how I saw it going too. He fought a smart fight and as soon as J tied him up he controlled him from then on. That much wrestling background with size difference is always going to secure him the win.

@@jackjack4412 Honestly, I never think I can hang with anyone. So when I step in, I expect the worst and do everything I can to keep that from happening. So far, that's worked for me. In my prime, I went 9-1 in Kickboxing losing my first then winning my last to by 1st round KOs. I've got a bunch of gold medals from BJJ tourneys too. I've never been afraid, but more respectful of what my opponent can do while I try to shut that down.

I could be wrong but at about 1:26 Jay uses an up kick on what is to me a downed fighter. I don't have your guys rule book handy but when u couple that with the missed taps at the end the officiating in this match is questionable to say the least.

That was epic. Great match. Terrifier played it real smart. Instead of spending gass chasing a perfect double he just trusted his scrambling and forced it to the ground once he got proper grips. That´s one of these things on the table if you got the weight and the scrabling ability on the mat. Gottem was mean and winning that fight in my book from guard until that pass. Big respect.

See the ground and pound was exactly why I said what I said before! Being able to use his weight as a huge advantage! Both height and weight play significant roles when determining an advantage in a fight. Especially in an unregulated fight, the heavier opponent will have an advantage as they have increased muscle mass, allowing them to hit harder and withstand strikes from their opponent more easily
