Kansas !? Small world; I grew up in a small farm town in Northeast Kansas, joined the Navy right after high school in 1976. I like the fact that you have a hookah setup and your video skills are 10,000% better than what I could do. Nice video, thanks for sharing.....

I grew up in Pomona. Our address was Quenemo. Like you, I left immediately after high school and joined the Marine Corps. I’ve still got the majority of my family that lives there, so I’ve always been back to visit on a regular basis.

It looks like your sails are in great shape. Do you have a spinnaker or any other sails? Did you have to purchase new sails or did these come with your boat? Also, you need to get a spear gun and kite surfing equipment.

I bought a new 140% genoa. The main has seen better days. In fact, I’m on a 1300 mile passage right now, and had to use the speedy stitch on it, so that a tear wouldn’t rip any further. I have a spear gun & a spear pole. Guns are illegal in the Bahamas, so that’s why I haven’t had it out in a long while. I’ve always wanted to learn how to kite surf. One of these days….
