The Seal Launch

Need to enter the water in a kayak but there is no easy launch area? How about a kayak seal launch. This is a short demonstration of how to do a Seal Launch in a touring kayak. Not only fun but sometimes crucial to being able to get on the water!

You can either follow the gators, they know where the best place is to leave the water...or ,1:14 use the reverse gravity exit method. :) But seriously, thanks for sharing this!

0:48 Why do you say “make sure you are in a touring kayak with a skirt”? Do you intend to exclude other kayaks with a skirt?

Any boat with foot and thigh braces would work but if you launch from too high in a white water boat you might flip over and land on your back.
