This will work in a swimming pool or a little pond, not in real situations. The cowboy reentry from the rear of the boat and going over a rudder will decrease your chances of having children.

I've been in hurricane wind and rain and intense lightning and my kayak didn't flip , just make sure you balance your weight in the center and if it's windy don't go side ways with the white caps towards the side .. its easy when you know your kayak and have lots of practice..

Notice that none of these kayakers have paddle leashes , paddle floats , extra paddles or electric bilge pumps on their boats . Know that a kayak with bulkheads can be safely paddled with the cockpit full of water

These are good tips for young men in very good shape and on the light side of the scale. Older, heavier folks don't have the upper body strength or the kicking power to propel themselves up and on to a kayak, and I expect that very few women would even attempt it. The biggest error they suggest is to practice in the conditions you paddle in. 95% of the time I paddle in a river that's a half mile wide, averages 30' deep, with a 5 mph current. Freighters up to 1000' long are present every day as well as every kind of watercraft imaginable. I know my limitations and there's no way on God's green Earth am I going to get out of my kayak in those conditions and see if I can get back in. My preconceived strategy, should I find myself "swimming", is to grab my dry bag where any valuables will be, let the kayak go, and swim to shore. That's what I would suggest for anyone, anywhere. Write your name and address on the inside with a sharpie, put some styrofoam in the storage compartments, and know it will find it's way home. And so will you.

That Perception Tribe flipped WAY too easily.

Tribes are so stable that they will never flip anyway. My daughter always puts her big dog up front when paddling. Never tried it in white water though. That might be exciting!

I think that the method of re-entry of sit on kayak is different from that of sit in kayak! It sit on kayak should rise from the middle of a kayak.

A sit inside kayak is a kayak. The other ones are water toys, which are fine, but not a kayak. Not even close.
