Ushi, you can use ubb to cancel Lucius when he says "the gate is opening." There is no turn penalty with lost soul if you use ubb on that turn..

Luckily I made it past Seria's nightmare, as well as the first two fallen gods(easy), but now Cardes is proving to be a problem. I want to nuke him down, but Ushi's video didn't really help much(with all the limited units I don't have) and there aren't many helpful normal strategy videos.

If you are still stuck of Cardes, I would recommend during him omni, before 65% (or 60%, i forgot) make sure he doesnt have any elemental mitigation buff on him (they last 3 turns), and push him over to trigger the thing where you need to nuke him or he nukes you. Use Savia, then use another UBB with something to attack buff (like Krantz or Agress) and nuke. if done right, should put him around 15% - 25% and just slowly take him down. Maxwell is harder because if you dont have the right units, you just have to take her down slowly. If you have another krantz with 4 turn UBB SP, on 6star maxwell, you can UBB, then turn after savia UBB, then the turn after that push Maxwell over 50% so she would transform into omni. You should still have one more turn of Savia UBB with Krantz UBB buffs. That will put a good dent in her.

I wondered the same thing! So Lauda, Rize, etc should work well. I always have trouble with passing damage thresholds, but I’ll give it a try, since the alternative is waiting for him to Gate three times.

Anyone else notice that friend Regil had a "Heaven's Edge" equipped? That helps too with all the buffs you get from that thing, especially the 150%+ to all parameters.... You realize to get that sphere, you need to hit level 999.... Yeah my friends will have MUCH WEAKER Regils.
