My favorite rb of all time. Also the reason the Longhorns are still my favorite college team.

It would have been so awesome if Ricky Williams played in the 04 and 05 Season with Vince Young. They would have been the ultimate power house team in that era.

I hope so..I'm looking forward to seeing that documentary..The 2008 team was actually better..Nobody will ever know how that BCS championship game vs. Alabama could've gone if Colt McCoy was healthy..To be honest, I thought Alabama was the more complete and better team..
@larrytischler570 Жыл бұрын
@@fiesta061000 nobody knows how great the '64 team was either. Texas finished with one loss, to Arkansas, 14 to 13. Alabama was Number 1, and Texas played them in the Orange Bowl. None of the media gave Texas a chance to stand up to 'Bama. Texas was ahead 21-0 at the half. At the end Joe Namath later the NY Jets Super Bowl winning QB tried a sneak to get a first down and keep their drive alive to score, but All American middle line backer Tommy Nobis stopped Namath short. The Longhorns took over and won 21 to 17. Horns were the Jan 1st, 1965 Orange Bowl Champs over #1 Alabama. In those days, the Orange Bowl was almost like the Rose Bowl. Arkansas took all the glory after Texas beat Alabama for them. Like I said, nobody knows how good the '64 Horns were.

I never knew Ricky Williams played in the minor leagues and was drafted by the Phillies out of high school. I'm still trying to figure out how he blew his $50,000 signing bonus he got in 1995 before he finished college

*Ricky has one problem that he will never overcome. He will always be in Earl Campbell's Shadow due to the fact Earl is a Texan and Ricky is not. And the fact that Earl had a lot better NFL Career, also with a Texas Team plays into Ricky never leaving the shadow.*
@krb012311 ай бұрын
Ricky Williams: 10,009 Rushing Yards and 74 TD's in NFL. Earl Campbell: 9,407 Rushing Yards and 74 TD's in NFL.. How exactly did earl have "a lot better NFL career"?? Plus Ricky left the NFL in the prime of his career and a was a role player for the last couple years in his career. *Oh and Ricky had over 2,000 receiving yards in his NFL career when Earl didn't even break 900. Ricky had a much better NFL career, Stats dont lie.
@leelineberry58216 ай бұрын
because people always talk about the monster that Earl was...you dont hear squat about ricky....plus ricky didnt retire, he quit to smoke dope with the boyz...and mack stinks...he left unc in middle of the night...and came back years later too soft to coach....needs to get out !
