@@EverymansGospel Imo, if you want to understand law vs grace read Yeshua’s teachings not Paul’s. Here are a couple of key points to study: The Parable of the Faithful & Unfaithful Servants concludes with statements about expectations & punishment, Luke 12:42-48 Matthew 5:17-20 He specifically says that Torah in its entirety remains in full effect, then states what comes of those who break or teach others to break even the least significant of commandments. Yeshua stood against the takkanot laws while upholding the Torah laws. Yeshua seems to place a hierarchy on laws but still expects all to be done compassion judgement and faith come first but the others are still requisite too - Matthew 23:22-23

I'm a Karaite Christian by belief. My family keep the food laws and we try to keep the Sabbath but according to the lunar solar calendar. In the same way, we do as Yeshua said to follow the rules of those in authority, so if it's Sabbath but also a school day then we do the trip to school and back. It gets very complicated but also very simple. We are far from perfect though and there are no groups of like minded people to support our faith. One of the biggest difference that is just in day to day life between the pharisees and ourselves, is that we can go to mcdonalds and have cheeseburgers, since the Torah does not disallow it.

As you know the 7th day is always friday evening to saturday evening in modern calendars, and the special event High Sabbaths fall on the different days, do pay attention to truth over lies.

Brother it is hard when we are relearning how Yehovah counts and not according to man's counting. There is like-minded people who believe Ike you do. The gentiles make it very hard to take Saturday off, its their "most valuable" business day....I don't ALWAYS HAVE TO BUT BECAUSE OF THEIR MISUNDERSTANDINGS most ARE FORCED TO....THATS WHY A DEGREE, EVEN IN BASKET WEAVING, IS VALUABLE. this way we can get a Monday through Friday job.....I hate using these names for a weeks though...there all named after pagan gods. :(

It's funny that he mentions the ritualistic sacrifices being part of the Torah but... Jeremiah 7:21-23 "Thus says the Lord of hosts, the God of Israel: 'Add your burnt offerings to your sacrifices and eat flesh. Cherry picking I see. Isaiah 56:7 Malachi 3:1. Yes g/d doesn’t care for sacrifices. This is for us not for him. It’s a sign of devotion. But of course he doesn’t want or need sacrifices. We use prayer as a substitute until we can get the temple back. Then the sacrifices will come back. As stated in Malachi

@@Thedunguen9999 it's not my intention to cherry pick verses or to simply s*** over the Jewish people and their beliefs. All I'm trying to do is to find the truth somewhere in the muddy water and what I know to be factually true is that the law and commandments of God are supreme but even in this modern rabbinical age this statement is abhorrent to most torah observant Jews because they consider their oral traditions to be superior to the very tanakh and the mitzvot given to Israel by Adonai. I would recommend that you look into my quotations and determine the truth for yourself rather than believing what men and religious institutions have taught you to believe. God did not give us a spirit of consciousness only to not use it to think for ourselves.

This is oral Torah. As for the oral Torah in the tenakh. In D26:3-6. It says that no ammonite or Moabite may enter the ensemble of the lord not even until the 10th generation. Now David lineage has a Moabite in them. Ruth. Making the whole lineage illegitimate! Now if people accepted the oral Torah they would know that this was only for males. Females were okay.
